OH GOSH THE CREATURE IS MOVING
good lord I love that first shot! how the creature looms over the camera, with beautiful Gothic buildings on a night sky behind it. it looks absolutely massive! it's very intimidating, I'm not going to lie. I also think it's interesting how it's very slightly curved, like a snake about to strike. the shot of it flying through the panels is very dynamic tho. it gives a real sense of rush and danger to the page, causing a kind of chaos to the situation. like the panels can't keep up with the strike!
I really love how the lettering has been warped on this page too! it's very handy that you learned how to use fonts like this, it really flows through the page very naturally and keeps pace with the art!
and oh gosh. Boots looks panicked, the poor thing. the pose and expression are very fun and intense, her hugging the wall in terror really selling the feeling of dread and panic. I love how only the eye is pure white too, like if it glows. it's a very neat touch!
