this page starts out strong with some great expressions! I like how full her face seems at the start, like how her pupil isn't fully diluted yet. the water still came out great too! I like how it looks like it's slowly grabbing her and ready to drag her into the depths, waves choppy with evil and rage.
the lettering and fonts is really well done too! I like how fitting the bulkier font is for the wood sounds, seems like it fits better for the situation
the chaos of the many roots coming out to grab Boots is very well drawn too! the frantic quick actions of grabbing and ripping are very well communicated, though it does make me very anxious. it gives me a feeling that puts me in a slight panic that I can't quite describe with words. still very well done for what you wanted to achieve!
I still don't know what that head would is or where it came from, but I like how the blood starts dripping down her face a panel after it appeared. like, it's not immediate blood gushing, and I feel like it's more realistic? I dunno
that last panel is. whoof. it's really good! her fur all mangled and caught up in the moss, with roots twisted up around her, blood and tears dripping down her face as she looks in terror at an ominous figure stands before her, out of focus. it's a powerful scene and a great cliffhanger for the end of a page!
