Petalpaw yawned, watching his mentor gather herbs from the brook. She’d have some Cherivil after an argument with a thunderclan patrol whom had thought she was trespassing on the sunning rocks (Even though Petalpaw thought they rightfully belonged to riverclan..), and some Comfrey. She was now waddling over to where she’d planted some Feverfew and Mallow, to collect her plants. ``When I’m gone, it’ll be your job to keep our herbs alive.`` Minnowtail purred, walking back into camp.

``Heyy, Flower Tom!`` Badgerpaw teased. She padded over to her brother whom was carrying herbs in his mouth and tripped him. He collapsed and his limbs flailed in the air for a few seconds before his nose dived into the ground. Minnowtail looked back at her apprentice and slimmed her eyes.

``Badgerpaw!`` She hissed sternly. Badgerpaw’s fur stood on edge as she gulped, terrified. ``That is NOT how an apprentice behaves.`` She scowled. Badgerpaw’s mentor had risen from his den, a disappointed look on his face.

``What has she done now?`` The older, more muscular tom snorted, walking over to them. Petalpaw, -gathering his herbs,- scrambled to his mentor’s side. The older tom had gray fur on his eyebrows and chin, obviously close to being and elder. He let out a scraggly mutter and looked at Badgerpaw with his lime-colored eyes.``Badgerpaw, front and center.`` He hissed. He was clearly wizened within the passing moons, and he’d let that show proudly. Bagderpaw dipped her head in shame and sat before him, raising her head as her glossy eyes seemed to choke up with near tears.

``Why’re you teasing your brother, ‘ere? What’d he done to start this?`` The tom asked, his eyes clearly showing disappointment. ``I ‘ought to punish you for your actions. What'd you think, Minnowtail?`` He asked, his right tooth now visible over his bottom lip. Minnowtail thought for a few seconds and turned to the older tom beside her.

``Well, Peakbite, I think that you should make her eat last from the prey pile today.`` Minnowtail smirked, looking back at Bagderpaw (who was now regretting what she’d done.) with an ashamed glisten in her eyes.

``I think that’s ’bout right. What do you ‘ink, Petalpaw?`` Peakbite gave a gentle, playful smile as he turned his head to face Petalpaw, who had a smug grin.

``Mhm. That should do it.`` He winked, looking at Badgerpaw, tapping his paw on the ground. ``Or, She can clear ticks from the elders’ fur.`` He said, looking towards the elder’s den.

``Aye, lad. I think that’s muuch betta.``Peakbite nodded slowly, looking at Badgerpaw, as she was sprawled across the ground, whimpering. ``Do you have any spare Mousebile that Petal-aw’s not using for his nest?``

``I in fact do. Petalpaw and I restocked the herbs this sunup. There should be enough.`` Minnowtail said, nodding. She waved her tail, calling Badgerpaw over. She padded into the medicine den and walked to the mousebile that Petalpaw had given her. Badgerpaw stormed out with a scrunched up face, repulsed by the horrid smell that came from the herbs she’d been given.

``Tasteful to my nose…`` Petalpaw awed, catching the scent of the herbs, a long purr coming from him.

``Shut up, Flower tom.`` Bagderpaw spat. She stomped along with the mousebile, gagging from it being held in her mouth.

``Nah, I’m good you overgrown guinea pig.`` Petalpaw remarked, licking his paw and drawing it over his forehead. ``Bye-bye.`` He’d snort, waving his tail as he stood up. He watched Badgerpaw enter the elder’s den, a glad smile forming on his face.
