HAMDAN'S P.O.V
So the operation was successful and I was glad it went well. The POTUS (president of the united states) thanked us and the team of doctors even if it was just a minor operation. The president was so very glued to his wife it was adorable. Despite being one of the most powerful man on earth, I saw him vulnerable. His wife meant so much to him. He was fussing over her and literally not letting anyone touch her by feeding her medicine or just dealing with doctors by himself and not his assistants whatsoever. The look they passed to each other showed tremendous trust and love for each other that reminded me of someone. Father noticed my expression and I left the special ward. I left for home thinking of sheikha and how much I missed her. I wasn't allowed to visit her anymore, although I do get to meet uncle Saeed who is her father. From the past 5 days, I was forbidden to talk to sheikha (fathers rules) or ask uncle Saeed about her. I try to be the good son. I know my father wants the best for me but my relationship with sheikha is not something he can control. I'm not going to give in. If he can play so can i. I am going to tell Aairah everything before father goes to her house with the proposal. I will ask her to help me, maybe she would reject me that way. I mean come on, there are women grabbing every opportunity to be around me or with me. I take my phone out and text sheikha
Hey habibti I miss you.
I press the send button hoping she will text me.
As I reach home. I straightaway go to my room not bothering to disturb the chefs or anyone. It was almost 3 and I wasn't too tired. So I quickly showered and changed into a cotton t-shirt and sweatpants and went to the kitchen to drink some milk. I didn't want to drink coffee as I usually do. Sheikha says too much coffee isn't good. So I heated up some milk and began to drink while checking sheikhas reply.
I miss you too please don't text me I'm super sleepy.😘
I smile at her text and continue drinking thinking of what happened
Today. Aairah was a nice talented and a strong girl...she was ambitious and he admired her for that. So marrying him would sort of cause distraction for her to achieve her goals. This thought relieved him a little as it would be easier to convince her not to. He was cautious as to not mention anything about this to Sheikha, it would break her heart. And he would do anything to not let that happen. He remembered the first gift she gave him before him leaving for London. It was a pure gold Rolex watch she had bought for him from her pocket money which was so sweet of her. To which she had mentioned in a card that said 'No matter how far you are from me, I will always be there with you, for you. No matter how difficult things get I will always be by your side. Crown Prince, ruler or not you always be my Prince and me your princess. I love you, please don't forget me. love Sheikha.'
No matter what happened I had to speak to Aairah.
Tomorrow I will.
