The figure looked down at the siblings from above, their masked painted into an eternal smile. From the ground, Dr. Winston Miller gestured for his agents.

"Forget these two." he says "I want every last one of you to go after the two up there."

Winston seemed barely able to conceal his glee. The agents that were holding onto Felipe and Isabella let go, each pulling out their stun-guns, pointing them at the masked figures above.

Felipe and Isabella did not miss their chance to escape and quietly slunk away from the doctor and his men. Isabella glanced back at the masked duo, feeling guilty that she and Felipe were running away. She made eye contact with the smiling figure and her feeling of guilt grew. How could they just run away when these two strangers were risking their lives and freedom to give them a chance to escape?

Isabella stopped.

"Bella" Felipe said, clearly exasperated "Leave them. This might be our only chance to get out of here."

Bella ignored him and started running back to the crowd of agents. The masked figures finally made their move, jumping into the air from their vantage point on the skyscraper towards Bella, and Felipe, who had apparently followed her back into the fray.

For a moment, Dr. Winston's agent seemed stunned, but only for a moment. They regained the composure and started firing. The masked pair landed on the ground behind the agents and ran full speed towards Isabella and Felipe, behind them, the Doctor was screaming at his agents

"Get them!! Shoot them, you idiots!!"

The smiling-faced figure reached Isabella and lifted her off her feet.

"What are you doing?!" Bella screamed, but there was no answer.

Beside her, Felipe had been picked up by the second concealed figure, and they were shouting at each other.

"Put me down! Right now!" Felipe screeched, struggling against their grip.

"Just calm down!" The figure replied, in a notably feminine voice "We're risking our lives to save you! So sit still!" Felipe didn't seem convinced and continued to struggle with the masked girl.

Isabella could hear Dr. Winston's agents following behind them, and peeked around the smiling guy's shoulder, and saw that they were fairly far behind. Suddenly, a stunning laser streaked by her head, and she decided she'd better not look back anymore.

As they made their way through the city, Felipe became increasingly restless, and his benefactor increasingly annoyed. As they turned to run down another alley, the girl finally dropped him.

"Ow!" Felipe yelled, surprised.

"Eli," the girl said to her partner, ignoring Felipe's cries of pain "Let's leave this one behind and just take the girl."

Her partner laughed and set Bella onto the ground. "I doubt they'll let us separate them, right?"

He looked to Felipe "Damn right" Felipe retorted.

The masked boy laughed again, and Felipe looked even angrier.

"Who are you people anyway?" he spat.

The boy stopped laughing and looked to his partner as if to ask for permission to speak, she nodded at him, and the boy removed his smiling fox mask, revealing his matching smiling face. He was handsome, Isabella supposed, with blue eyes and locks of wavy blond hair. He was a few inches taller than Felipe and judging by how easily he had carried Isabella, muscular.

" I'm Eli," he said as he waved a hand towards the girl "And that's Lillian"

The girl removed her mask, showing her sour expression that didn't suit her delicate features. She had icy silver eyes that matched her hair, which she pulled into two long pigtails, a small button nose, and thin lips that seemed to be always scowling.

Isabella had to remind herself that this girl could lift Felipe effortlessly.

"Where are you taking us?" Isabella asked.

"We're going out of the city" Eli replied.

Now it was Felipe's turn to laugh.

"And how do you expect us to get over the walls?"

It was a good question to ask, as the whole Capitol city was enclosed within four two-hundred-foot walls, each guarded with defensive AI, and more importantly, S.H.G.S. agents.

Eli flashed another one of his blinding smiles. "It's easy," he said "We fly"
