We open to a male with short unruly ginger hair trudging back to his house in the woods by the portal lake....This male could always be seen with his nose in a book and headphones in his ears. His long pale legs were exposed from the knee down cascading from under dark shorts his torso covered by a black tank top with a red and black flannel. His long arms slowly slung to the sky as he let's out an exasperated sigh. Being the head of the astronomy club was hard, even for someone as flexible under pressure as him.

"Veronica! It's time for dinner where have you been!" His mom says"And why are you wearing those filthy clothes!"

He looks at her annoyed."first I told you to call me vincent. Second off what's wrong with my clothes? Dad got them for me when I went over last weekend."

She looks disgusted."i do not want my little girl dressing like that."

"News flash mom. I'm not much of a girl anymore." He says through gritted teeth. He walks inside checking the time and smiling almost time! It was so close...the sunset..he couldn't wait!

He hums as he ate his dinner quickly and packed his bags. His dad told him a story of a mythical world beyond the lake, and how he had lived there many years ago and he told his son how to get there.

Vincent looked around and checked to see if his mom was gone to work and smirks as he runs to the lake and jumps in letting himself sink all the way to the bottom his eyes shut tight.

When he emerged from the water, he was perfectly dry.  There was the café his dad had told him of, The Fangtastic Café.
