Hey so i just want to quickly inform something that's been happening in my country Chile (you can just ignore this if you want)
Due to a rise in the metro fare, high school students started a mass fare-dodging protest around two days ago. Things escalated really quickly and so did the police repression, today they were given permission to use fire arms (pellet guns), there are many injured, most of them high school kids. The government declared state of emergency in wich the military are granted permission to guard the streets and historically speaking this is never a good idea.
I’m sorry for putting all this here but I’m really scared, I’ve never seen this much police violence in my country (and we have had bigger protests) and i don’t know what’s gonna happen for now i just want you all to know in case i were to stop updating this story
Anyways sorry again i am okay just scared
