In the dream, Elise was athletic and fierce, extremely independent and reliant on no one. Elise trained with many other young warriors, not only learning physical fighting techniques but also studying politics, history, sciences, and the arts. Elise’s dream self worked very hard at all of this.
She eventually was told she was chosen to begin to patrol and help protect the kingdom. Elise then would spend her dream fighting a variety of enemies, not all of which were easy to defeat. Some were monsters, others were corrupt people attempting to take over the kingdom.
Near the end of the dream, Elise encountered her toughest challenge. She would enter a beautiful palace, searching for an object with had been stolen from her kingdom, the Stardust Rose. As she slipped into the enemy palace, a young man would sneak in after her. The young soldier would refuse to turn back, stating he was determined to help her save their kingdom.
Elise would begrudgingly allow him to accompany her. The pair would carefully sneak through the palace, quietly searching each room for the magical object. They would go deeper into the palace as each room failed to produce their prize.
As the pair approached the throne room, they saw a man in grand armor pass their hiding place and enter the throne room. Elsie and her ally snuck into the throne room only to find the armored man waiting for them, holding the Stardust Rose. He was the prince of the enemy kingdom and the one who had ordered the theft of the Stardust Rose.
Elise and her ally would demand the return of their kingdom’s treasure and be refused by the prince. At that point, the pair would try to take it back, with the prince fighting them and matching them, blow for blow. As Elise and her ally began to tire, the prince offered a deal. He would allow her ally to return the Stardust Rose to their kingdom on one condition. Elise must remain in his kingdom and marry him.
Elise would accept and as her ally left, the prince told her “You were born to fight and born to lead. You will now do this for me.”
Elise would then wake up. The dream was so strange and, despite trying to convince herself it was only a dream, it felt so real. Ever since the first dream, she’d had more dreams of that life and the adventures left her with a longing for that to be real. Her dream ally hauntingly reminded her of the man who had offered to help her with the box, Astor. Her heart hurt as she dwelled in the dreams, certain, something was going to happen.
