chapter 08: Momo and the nameless cat

Chapter 8 of WisteriA. This was the first chapter to be published alongside the regular weekly updates on the WisteriA homepage (which has since been discontinued...).
Because there's nowhere else to really put this, here's an announcement: I'll be changing to publishing chapters one episode at a time from now on. This is to avoid having to keep updating existing chapters as well as to avoid fragmenting a story best told in a more continuous manner. That means updates will be farther apart now... but so it goes.
With that said, I think you could expect chapter 9 in say... I dunno. Two months, I suppose. With practice, hopefully that gap between chapters will get shorter.
Anyway:
This chapter marks yet more turning points as I start to have a clearer idea of what I want the story to be. Steering closer towards a goal, little by little. Like Momo!
I had to research drawing cats a lot before jumping into the storyboard of this one. I think you can probably tell I was still getting the hang of it even as I started inking the first pages. In a way, this chapter was the practice itself. Not bad practice, either.
