In this page we introduce Konrad, the Human Steel-Breaker (Brawler) !
The Brawler is a class that mixes the fighting style of the Monk with the strength and flexibility of the Fighter. It has very good abilities to take the most advantageous position in the battlefield, can pack a punch (and sometimes multiples) either with a weapon or its bare hands, and can switch its feats depending on the battle. The Steel-Breaker is an archetype (a.k.a a subclass) of the Brawler that specializes in destroying objects and bypassing ennemies' defenses.
Humans are the most common and diverse race in Golarion. The great majority of nations are ruled, or at least mainly inhabited by humans. They adapt very easily to their environment, physically as well as mentally.
Konrad is an orphan who lived in Kenabres as long as he can remember. He doesn't remember who his parents were. From a very young age, he learned how to use his own body as a weapon in order to survive in the deadly place that is the Worldwound. He met and was saved by Elemiah when he was a kid, when a group of demon-worshipping cultists kidnapped them and tried to sacrifice them, and they are friends since then. Konrad is a kind soul, joyful and carefree, and is surprisingly knowledgeable about materials, geography and foreign languages, but his tendency to break things, to not think about the consequences of his actions, and his bad abilities with words tend to bring the ire of the less patient people around him. He hates demons and being imprisonned.
It has been several centuries since Aroden, the greatest of Golarion's gods, disappeared. At the same time as his presumed death, several faults appeared in the region nowadays known as the Worldwound, from which armies of demons flowed out and tried to invade the world of the livings.
Several crusades between the demons and the livings later, the conflict is at a stalemate. That is, until the day the demons manage to destroy one of the Wardstones, components of the barrier preventing the demons from getting out of the Worldwound, starting this way the most deathly crusade Golarion has witnessed.
But there is one last hope. Four young inhabitants of Kenabres - Séliss Ya'al the Summoner, Célia Behorn the Hunter, Elemiaheleison of the Fifth Crusade the Bloodrager and Konrad the Brawler - rise as heroes of the Fifth Crusade against all odds after obtaining strange, quasi-divine powers. With their newfound strength, our four heroes will lead the Fifth Crusade against the demons, fighting dangerous foes and discovering ancient secrets to avenge their fallen city and save the world.
This is the Crusaders' Myth.
