And our last main character : Séliss Ya'al, the Tiefling Summoner ! o/ (and her father Liwjatan Ya'al, plus her Eidolon Ashtor)
The Summoner is a support class with many abilities linked to summoning. In addition to a spell list centered around buff and debuff spells and trap summoning, they are able to summon an Eidolon, a powerful extraplanar creature linked to their soul, and able to develop abilities and to change its appearance if its master so desires. Unlike the Hunter's animal companion, the Eidolon does not die and just goes back to its original plane to get back its strength instead. When the Eidolon is not with them, the Summoner can naturally summon magical creatures to do their biding.
Tiefflins are a humanoid race descending from devils and demons. Mainly recognizable by the features of their ancestors that can change depending on the individual - horns, skin color, hooves, tail, etc - their fiendish blood grant them surnatural abilities and magical powers. Because of their baleful origins, they are oftentimes discriminated. The Crusade is one of the rare groups to accept their help.
Séliss Ya'al is the daughter and apprentice of Liwjatan Ya'al, a powerful mage and commander of the Crusade at the head of a tiefling troup, who she sees as her hero and life model. Having always lived in a Kenabres at war, she studied diplomaty, military strategies and magic since a young age, et is supposed to take on Liwjatan's role. Knowledgeable, she tends to think too much and to miss simpler things, and to be haughty with those she judges not worthy of her time. Being the party face, she compensates her lack of martial abilities by her leadership and diplomaty and serves as a support for the rest of the team in battle, shaping the field to their advantage and boosting them with her magic. She is accompanied by Ashtor, her Eidolon, protective and taciturn.
It has been several centuries since Aroden, the greatest of Golarion's gods, disappeared. At the same time as his presumed death, several faults appeared in the region nowadays known as the Worldwound, from which armies of demons flowed out and tried to invade the world of the livings.
Several crusades between the demons and the livings later, the conflict is at a stalemate. That is, until the day the demons manage to destroy one of the Wardstones, components of the barrier preventing the demons from getting out of the Worldwound, starting this way the most deathly crusade Golarion has witnessed.
But there is one last hope. Four young inhabitants of Kenabres - Séliss Ya'al the Summoner, Célia Behorn the Hunter, Elemiaheleison of the Fifth Crusade the Bloodrager and Konrad the Brawler - rise as heroes of the Fifth Crusade against all odds after obtaining strange, quasi-divine powers. With their newfound strength, our four heroes will lead the Fifth Crusade against the demons, fighting dangerous foes and discovering ancient secrets to avenge their fallen city and save the world.
