"Noooo" I groan, as the alarm is piercing my ears, I throw my hand at the object to stop it but I went a little hard, ouch. There is no way I'm getting out of this soft bed, I can feel my skin against the extra tenderness of the sheets Haaa this is heaven... At least that's what I'm thinking until I hear a very unpleasant sound, to the point that I can hear a painful pulse in my ears.
"Tyler Marks-Taylor! Get out of that bed already!" is screaming a woman, as she's forcing her way into my room. Forcefully opening my eyes burning in tears, I'm constating that the woman is in fact my mother, figured. "Come on honey, would be a shame to be late for your first day in a new school." I sigh in despair at the hearing of those last words. As if it wasn't a recurrent situation... I go take a warm calming shower, I'm sensing my body waking up, stretching. Once cleaned I get out of the bathroom and reluctantly prepare myself to go to school yay I'm so excited... or not.
With my backpack, I follow my mother to the car. On the way, she's talking about how much she loves me and she's hoping that it will be better this time and we can finally settle. same lines as always I’m afraid. I don't really know why but she doesn't seem able to keep a job for too long, she has always small contracts, I am wondering sometimes how she manages her work life but hey she's my mother I love her and I trust her.
Arriving at our destination, she gives me a big smile ear to ear full of love, she presses gently her warm lips on my cheek, which makes me quite happy to be frank then nod and shake her fist as to say, you can do it ! I smile back at her and get out of the car standing strong trying to give myself confidence as I'm facing my new high school. oh I want to go back hide in my bed… very much.
