This is it guys. We reached the second last week of school. The unfortunate thing was that this would be our last day at this school till gr.9. Our school was being remodelled. We would have to transfer to another school for the year. Northwestern. We hated them for no other reason besides they were another school. My dad dropped me off and I met up with my friend on the way into our school. Georgia, the tall one. We hadn’t done anything school related this week. From a dodgeball tournament to the pool we were great. As soon as we entered and went down the gr. 7 and 8 wing, it had looked like we entered a horror movie. The power had been cut and the light in the girls bathroom was flickering. A few girls we passed teased they saw blood in there, making me and Georgia laugh. I put my stuff away, met up with more friends and wandered the school till the bell rang, taking in the school. We stayed in our homerooms for around half an hour, watching people’s presentations. Soon it was time for an assembly. With rewards! I got two that day. All excellent and an average of above 80%. It was two more awards than I thought I would get. Soon it was lunch then back to homeroom. Our teacher brought us down to get ice cream. The walls of the gr. 7 wing was covered in graffiti. The teacher let us draw on the walls for the last 5 minutes. It was getting torn down anyway. As that sweet end bell rang we savoured our last walk through the halls. We took pictures of the writing. I walked and talked with all my friends, laughing about the school. I went through the rest of my after school routine once I was free. As I laid in bed that night I wondered how Monday would go. 3000+ students all in one school. That was only for four days. I couldn’t imagine a whole year. Pulling the covers up to my chin I kept staring at my ceiling. “Oh god” I whispered, closing my eyes and going into a deep sleep.
