Tempest flew back a good few meters away and Berserk gaped at his brother's semi-limp body fly against a tree. Comet paused in his flight back to the house and stared, wide-eyed, at the unconscious body of his brother. The electricity around Berserk's arm slowly disappeared as he felt his arms go limp. Kitsune swallowed the lump in her throat as she tried to wrap her head around what she saw.

She hadn't expected Tempest to come so close- that and she didn't expect to see Berserk actually fuse both electricity and sound together at once. She felt her mouth go dry as she watched her two brothers exchange worried glances before they flew off to find Will. She wrapped her arms around her before she allowed herself to disappear. She grabbed her clothes and ran from the scene, worry bubbling in the pit of her stomach.

"I messed up..." She muttered to herself as she hurriedly swiped through her contacts. "I fucking messed up."

There was a moment of silence and Lila fled the scene before her phone rang. Answering it, she hadn't expected to hear Leo's voice, "Lila!"

"Leo..." She stuttered out. She stopped and took a deep breath as her hands continued to shake. "I- what happened? I left a lot earlier than expected but I heard... I heard Berserk's attack."

"Please... I-" she heard his breath hitch, "Come over and call mom and dad too."

"What happened." Lila shook as she dropped her clothes to the ground. She gritted her teeth and took a deep breath before she continued, "I- Mom and dad are probably busy with something. They called me a while ago."

"Lila, listen to me... just- just get someone to help."

Before Lila could respond, Tim cut her off by screaming at Leo to hurry up and there were mumbling and shaking. Lila hung up and breathed in. she had messed up big time. She canceled the illusion on herself and hid in a tree to change before she left her villain costume behind and ran to find her brothers.

The sight that greeted her made her pale. Her brother was surrounded by debris and he was bloody. She silently thanked whatever god was up there that his head wasn't bloody. She rushed to the two and informed them that she called their parents. Her hands shook when she saw Will unconscious and barely breathing.

"What did you do to stabilize him temporarily?" Lila asked, hoping her voice didn't come out shaky.

"He was covered in debris when we got here, we just finished getting all of it off him when you arrived," Leo explained as he took off his mask. "We don't-"

"Do you have some bandages in your kit or something?" Lila demanded. It wasn't everyday her brothers were hurt because they never faced any big-time villain.  She stiffened when she realized it was her fault. She was the villain. She sucked in a breath and continued to stare at her brother expectantly.

Leo fumbled with the small pockets attached to his belt before he got some bandages out, "Yeah, I do... here."

Lila took it silently and began patching up the wounds for first aid. She wouldn't hear the end of this from her parents. When she was almost finished with the last wrap around Will's arm, she heard deep breathing and she turned to see Tim looking on wide-eyed.

"Tim-"

"No... I-"

"Tim... what's wrong?" Leo asked as he approached his younger twin.

Instead of answering, Tim looked down at his hands. They shook slightly and his breathing quickened. Lila cursed under her breath and finished the last bandage, "Leo take care of Will."

"What- but-"

"Do you have civilian clothes in case we need the ambulance?" Lila snapped.

"I- yes."

"Change. Or at least cover up his uniform." Lila instructed as she slowly approached Tim. "We don't need the news onto us."

"Alright..." Leo frowned but followed his sister's instructions.

Lila took a deep breath and placed a soft and comforting hand on Tim's shoulder. She could feel his shoulders shake under her hand and she scooted closer to him, "Tim... hey..."

He didn't answer and Lila licked her lips. She squeezed his shoulder and pulled him close. She searched the area around her and found an abandoned plastic near Leo. She grabbed it and handed it to Tim slowly, "Breath, Tim. Slowly. It's fine..."

"No-"

"It's fine." Lila insisted, "I'm sure Will won't blame you. It's not your fault."

"How can you say that..." Tim muttered to himself, "You weren't there."

Lila noticed how his breathing calmed a bit but his voice was still shaky. She also noticed the slight tears at the corners of his eyes, "Either way, you shouldn't blame yourself. We all make mistakes, I'm sure Kitsune-"

"She didn't do anything..."

"Then-"

"I did. I punched him with- with..." Tim shook his head and buried it at the crook of Lila's neck, "I'm tired."

"We'll be going home soon, don't worry." Lila sighed as she turned to look at her two remaining brothers.

This was what she had done. She caused chaos and discord just as she wanted- she just didn't expect this certain outcome. She let out a shaky breath as she tried to calm her nerves. She had seen Will's injuries. She even patched them up. She closed her eyes and mentally berated herself. If only she wasn't so carefree and actually paid attention to her surroundings.

Before she could continue with her internal grief, the sirens of the ambulance drew closer. Tim redrew from the hug and muttered something about changing. Lila opened her mouth to protest but Tim was gone before she could even get a word out. With an irritated sigh, she stood up and dusted herself off.

"Lila..."

"Yes?" She responded. She refused to turn and meet Leo's eyes. It was just too much.

"Where did you go?"

"During the fight?"

"Yes, we were worried."

"I left because of boredom. It was getting too stuffy. Then, when I heard the attack from Tim, his usual sound boom, I turned and made my way back. When you called, I hurried up to get here."

"I- I'm so sorry you had to see this Lila." Leo's voice cracked a bit. "Will, Tim and I have always agreed to not bring you into this mess. especially with the thing about your powers-"

"Powers aside..." Lila cut him off as she turned to face him, "You know I want to help."

"It's just too dangerous. Look at... look what happened to Will. I don't think any of us could forgive ourselves if we saw you get hurt." Leo stuttered out.

Lila was taken aback. Usually, her brothers weren't the emotional types as they tend to jump to act immediately rather than use words. She was touched that they truly cared for her that deeply. It hurt more than she wanted to admit that she was the main cause of this problem. She was Kitsune.

"I know..." Lila whispered as she looked down at Will's damaged body, "I know."

It didn't take long for the ambulance and their parents to arrive. The paramedics went into action immediately and helped Will onto a stretcher to be transported to the nearest hospital. When the medics were out of earshot, Catherine pulled Lila into a tight hug and whispered, "What happened?"

"I'll..." Lila sniffed, her emotions catching up to her. "I'll explain later."

She could feel the burn of tears in her eyes as Tim, who had returned shortly after changing, and Leo spoke with their father about the event in hushed tones. She buried her head into her mother's neck to hide the onslaught of tears. She should've paid more attention and stopped goading Tim. She got what she wanted from him- but at what price?
