Volume 2 Chapter 1: Clues
Bullets could be seen littered onto the ground still in their copper casings. The ceramic walls were damaged, however they were covered with many items.
A crooked picture of men in their uniforms smiling while holding a flag could be seen on the side wall. Said flag was hanging on another wall, it had a picture of a side profile of a skull with a cross in its mouth.
A well decorated uniform could be seen on a hat hanger, riddled with bullet holes and blood stains.
A tattered mat, could be seen in the corner of the room, along with several unopened boxes.
As for the furniture there was a wooden desk carved with various fancy designs that stood at the centre of the room and right behind it was a leather chair. On the desk you could see a small radio, news papers, and a cigarette bowl, which was filled with several cigarette butts.
Light barely shined. There were windows right behind the leather chair, however it was closed with it's shaders blocking most of the light.
2 smaller and less fancy chairs stood right in front of the desk for the guests.
Rather than a home it was designed to be more of an office, in which people could come and employ General Bottle for a sum of money. Or so that was the idea.
Many people would've no doubt hired General Bottle as a Contractor, however no one knew where he lived. And so his business plummeted to the ground.
Gesus entered the room looking and playing with various objects that she's never seen before. Bottle limped across the room and sat in his leather chair. He pulled out a drawer and took out a wooden box with a worn down red cross and opened it.
In it was a big glass bottle with some sort of black liquid, band aid, and what appeared to be multiple cigars. Putting the cigars into a case and into his pocket, he then opened and drank the black liquid while coughing slightly.
Curious Gesus responded, "Wat is tat?"
"Koke'a Kola, you wouldn't know so don't worry about it." [Gul-ck Gul-ck Gul-ck]
The coke rushed through Bottle's body with a bubbly sensation, with the rush of sugar relief could be felt.
"AHhha! That hits the spot." Gesus was gazing at the coke with awe. Noticing Bottle set the coke down on the table and slowly removed it out of sight.
"Alright, kid spill it. Any idea where your mother might be?"
"no"
"Ok, then do you have a picture of her?"
"No"
"Do you know her name, what she looks like, anything?!?!"
"Auw... no..."
"....."
Gesus's eyes started to become watery, she was on the verge of crying.
"Don't do this kid to me kid, come on... ahhh, I will give you a sip of the Koke'a Kola!"
"!?! RELLY?"
"...." Feeling betrayed, Bottle handed the left over Kola
Grabbing the drink Gesus chugged the coke down her throat. [Gulp Gulp Gulp]
"AWWWWAAAaaa" Gesus was amazed at the taste, she has never tasted such sweet sugary sensation. Her expression was bright and happy.
"Come on kid, you must know something about your mother don't you?"
Gesus sat shutting her eyes tightly, and started to think.
"Hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm..."
"TAT!!!"
Gesus opened her eyes and pointed out the window... towards Omega Tower
"I rememba running away from that placu!"
Omega Tower was a marvel of the city. Vermillion the owner would often sell cybernetics to anyone who was willing to pay. Those who fought in the war had a distaste to replacing their limbs with metal, however it was cheap and stronger than flesh and so they succumbed to their desire to become stronger.
Construction workers, Doctors, and Contracted Killer were some of his many customers. Do you seek strength? Do you seek limbs that don't tire, weaken, or lose efficiency? With such benefits most would be willing to sacrifice a part of themselves for such a bargain.
Vermillion Corporation's slogan "A Stronger You."
[Sigh~]
"Fine... We'll go to Omega Tower. Just let me get a few things"
"YAY! I KEW I COULD COUNT ON U!"
.....................................................................................................................
The B-40 otherwise known as the Behemoth was used during World War 10 as a supply aircraft. It could carry up to 1,000 troops, rations to last a month of combat, heavy artillery equipment, and god forbid yo mama, even through obstructed terrain.
How did it manage to carry such a weight and still stay afloat?
The Behemoth had multiple huge canisters filled to the brim with a helium generator. Plated with many layers of steel, and rocket thrusters the Behemoth was basically a zeppelin on steroids.
Relief would come to allies who saw the Behemoth, while the enemy would reinforce their current position for an inevitable hellish counter attack.
Such was the tale of the Behemoth
However when the war ended it was sold to a commercial airline company and it is now used to transport civilians. It was repainted and the inside of it was reconfigured to allow for more passengers.
To this day no one remembers its tale, after all it's all just history now.
Click* "This is your Captain speaking, welcome aboard to the B-40, our destination is November The Red City."
"The current time is 1:49pm, our estimated arrival time is 8:00pm, we thank you for choosing Dynamic Airlines." Click*
"..."
"Umm... Bwttle?"
"Wha are we on a plane?"
"Listen kid, no one can just walk into Omega Tower."
"Heh, while we're at it let me teach you something about surprise attacks."
"It's always a surprise when they sky is falling!" Bottle's eyes light up a bit as he said that or maybe it was Gesus's imagination. A moment later Bottle pulled something out of his pocket.
"Alright, now wear this mask and follow me."
Volume 2 Chapter 1: Utter Chaos!
Bliz* "This is MPD 2nd Company! I repeat! OMEGA TOWER IS UNDER ATTACK! I REPEAT..." Bliz*
Bliz* "THIS MARSHAL L. LUCK OF 3RD COMPANY, I WANT ALL OF AVAILABLE OFFICERS AT OMEGA TOWER RIGHT NOW!" Bliz*
Omega Tower was in critical condition, an aircraft has crashed itself to the tower and was stuck in place. The initial impact has killed hundreds, many people fled as fire would rupture as the B-40's fuel cells were combusting.
The windows of the tower were all shattered simultaneously. A loud creak could be heard as if the iron pillars that held the building up were screaming in pain.
The military police department quickly assembled at the base of the tower preparing themselves to go and eliminate the perpetrator behind this chaos.
"Captain Luck Sir, [Salute] we've secured the perimeter around the base of the tower" A junior officer clad in full body armor stood to report.
His armor was pitch black with red lines glowing on some parts of it. He wore the standard issue corvus black helmet which would cover his entire head. In it was a many advanced optics, such as heat vision, night vision, and a communications ray.
"Well done, officer Niston, However this situation might be a lot more dangerous than it would appear." Marshall L. Luck the Captain of the 3rd company groomed his mustache as he observed the chaos in the central command vehicle.
"Niston, I need you to go gather up 3 squad and use the Trojan drop ship and get to the top of the building and start you way down."
"There will be other squads going from bottom to top, until you meet with them you have my permission to eliminate any and all living things, got it?"
Niston has served long enough to understand the harsh reality of the MPD(Military Police Department), however he never would have thought that he would be ordered to shoot staff of the Vermillion Corp.
"But... Sir should at least the staff of the Vermillion Corp. be rescued?"
Marshal Luck looked at the holo display on the table, he himself knew that the Vermillion Corp had close ties to the MPD. In fact you could say that the Vermillion Corp. 'owned' the MPD. He took a pause and sighed deeply.
"This was... Mr. Vermillion's own order."
......................................................................................................................
General Bottle and Gesus made their way out of the B-40 and onto Omega Tower. The were around the 90th floor, 100th being the roof. Many of the interior was destroyed, the elevator was out of service and even the staircase that would lead up was heavily damaged.
"I thwat you could drive wit"
"Listen kid, when you have hundreds of people trying to barge into the cockpit it's very hard to focus, got it?" [Cough Cough]
They both stood outside the crushed stair way, with no way to get up they were stuck in the 90th floor. Lucky the windows were all broken so fresh air could enter the collapsed areas.
"Just a couple floors up we should be able to find someone who knows where your mother is."
(Now I just gotta find out how to get up without stairs)
As Bottle was thinking, Gesus walked up to the elevator, it was slightly opened however the elevator itself was gone, leaving nothing but cables hanging into the bottomless abyss.
"Wat about tat?"
"The cables huh... not bad kid."
And so General Bottle and Gesus continued to climb
..................................................................................................................................................................................................................
On the 99th floor of Omega Tower, was a bar. An Executive that worked directly under Mr. Vermillion to the best of his abilities is said to have made his office into a Bar. He was one of the handful that worked directly under Vermillion. He was charismatic and charming even for his somewhat cybernetic complexion.
Lactos was his name, he enjoyed alcohol to a large degree. He would always be fascinated with various cocktails, with the smell and complex mixing of alcohol to alcohol.
The Bar itself was in fact Lactos's office, it was filled with many beer, whiskey, and wine. He even went so far as to have a small garden in which he grew grapes.
On the tables you could see that he's made quite the drink, with opened bottles and fruits, several cups have already been filled. While some were empty
General J. Bottle and Gesus entered the room quietly. A sweet scent would dance between their nostrils as they made their way to the sofa in which Lactos sat.
Lactos himself did not move, as General Bottle and Gesus came closer they could smell a putrid smell.
Gesus covering her nose whispered "I think he's ded"
Indeed Lactos's body was rotting on the sofa, it appears that he died from alcohol poisoning.
As they got closer they could notice the belly of Lactos has been eaten up by the bacteria of the alcohol that he drank. Indicating that he's been dead for quite a while.
Bottle's eye drew to the screen in which Lactos was watching before he died. It showed a video of Bottle and Gesus before he entered the room.
"The security camera?" Bottle was caught off guard, he quickly pulled out his revolver.
"HEY KID! GET DOWN!"
Contrary to Bottle's expectation, nothing major has happened. The only thing that did happen was the TV screen changed into a man in a white suit. The man was bulky in his build, it was as if his muscles wanted to burst out.
He was seated in a cathedral of sorts, stone archways, tinted glass. The man spoke loudly in a dominating voice.
"Mr. Bottle I assume?"
"You've caused me a lot of... Problems... you know that?"
A moment later he snapped his fingers and the TV screen turned into multiple video recordings of the Bar.
"Die well, Bottle"
"BREACH!" "GO! GO! GO!"
[BOOM!] [BOOM!] [BOOM!]
The walls were exploding all around, the ceiling was collapsing with armed MPD officers riding the falling debris.
The window which were already shattered, had smoke grenades thrown in. While the MPD officers grappling outside, jumped into the Bar.
[BANG!] [BANG!] [BANG!] [BANG!]
Bottle with his revolver shot at the MPD with regular bullets, however the armor and cybernetic augmentations of the MPD officers allowed them to easily shrug off the attack.
Bottle with his spare hand reached for an unopened wine bottle and threw it at one of the MPD officers who came through the window. Due to the sudden impact the MPD officer lost balance he fell off the building.
[Insert star wars clone screaming sound here] "MAN DOWN!"
The MPD were armed with a special heat blades. Scorching hot heat emitted from their blade which extended at least 5 inches, hot enough to cut through steel they swung at General J. Bottle.
Gesus was still prone after being told to get down. She wasn't noticed by the MPD and so she made her way to the door.
Using the furniture as an obstacle General Bottle was able to fend off many of the attacks. However the smoke grenade as now flooded the room with a thick mist.
The MPD officers quickly turned on their visors into heat vision, and prepared to attack once more. General Bottle without a moment of hesitation poured as many bottles of wine onto the floor as possible and pulled out his lighter.
The MPD officers seeing this rushed at Bottle before he lit the ground however the heat of their blade ignited the alcohol causing 5 officers to be encased in an inferno.
"AHHHHHHH!!!!" "HEEELL---P...."
Although their suits provided somewhat of a protection against the fire, they could feel the weaker part of their suits melt into their skin. For some parts of the suit was made with other material to save costs, and allow for more flexibility.
A breathing room was now created for General Bottle.
Bottle quickly rushed to where Gesus was and made their way out into the hallway. During this time Bottle quickly reloaded his gun with a more potent ammunition.
They headed for the stairs and were now on the rooftop.
On the rooftop 3 Trojan drop ships were flying nearby. However they seemed different from the MPD's. They were equipped with cameras and plated with gold. Suddenly a familiar dominating voice spoke through a megaphone.
"I Vermillion V. Max declare General J. Bottle a criminal for the destruction of Omega Tower."
General Bottle spoke back "What?"
[BOOM] [BOOM] [BOOM] [BOOM]
Special termite bombs exploded all throughout the building, cracking and crumbling the building and fell straight down to the ground.
Like a meteor, Omega Tower crashed into the ground in a thunderous roar. The entire area was covered with dust and smoke.
