Volume 3 Chapter 1: Jiggles
In the outer wall there are many different shops. They sell various goods, mostly contraband weapons. Such as cybernetic arms that can morph into flamethrowers, flesh that can regenerate even if half of it is cut off, and drugs that can suppress even the most devastating of wounds.
Many of these sellers were former military engineers from the war. Those engineers made many weapons and supplies for the war effort, but were now jobless.
And now they pawn their talents and items to anyone willing to buy. Many of them do not care for who they sell their equipment to. As long as the money flows they are willing to sell.
Some within the industry are well known. Selling ancient weapons from previous wars that is said to be so powerful that it could destroy armies. While others who are even more talented will make a master crafted weapon.
One such individual is Jiggles, he's served the Last Frontier with General Bottle during the 9th and 10th World War. Jiggles have known Bottle since the 9th World War, however during that time Bottle wasn't a general. In fact during the 9th World War they both served in the same mercenary guild called the Black Dog.
Jiggles was once a man with great talent, he was able to create creative weapons from the most obscure objects. Such as using the scrap from a broken down vehicle and turning into a cannon. His resourcefulness was greatly needed during the War, however, he could never make a proper weapon.
For example, if you give him a bar of steel and tell him to make a sword, the sword itself would be one of the sharpest around. However the sword would have a sudden bend of a 90 degree angle, right in the middle of the blade.
How did he manage to fuck up making a straight sword remains unknown. The sharpness could outweigh its drawbacks for the most part, however, people grew tired of his shit and stopped buying stuff from him in preference to normal weapons and goods.
Jiggles now stays in a small shack in the most rural part of the Omega called Junker Town.
......................................................................................................................
*Jingle* *Jingle* The doors of the shack jingled, which was rare.
*Step* *Step* *Squick* *Squick* A boot and a pair of tennis shoes could be heard leaving dust footprints behind.
"HEY! GIGGLES YOU THERE?" Bottle called out, his voice slightly echoed in the empty shack.
As Bottle observed the shack he could see many kinds of different machinery and gears coated with rust and dust.
Gesus staying close to Bottle, found the echoing of his voice to be funny and proceeded to make her own noises.
"HWLLO? Hwllo... wello..." As it echoed Gesus got even more excited and started tapping her feet.
[Tap] [Tap] [Tap] Feeling even more excited she took a deep breath.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
"SHUT..THE..FUCK..UP!" A reply was heard from the backdoor of the shack.
"WHAT..THE..HELL..IS..WRONG..WITH..YOU!" A man appeared out of the doorway, he was covered head to toe with some sort of brown cloth. As he walked you could hear the hard clank of his feet.
He was hunched back, he had a hood over his head, making it hard to see his face. Through the darkness however you could see a red dot, were his right eye should be.
Bottle took out his cigar case, and pulled one out. And just as when was going to light it...
"DAMMIT..BOTTLE..CAN'T..YOU..READ! I..PUT..A SIGN THAT SAYS NO SMOKING..IN HERE!" Jiggles slapped the cigar right out of his hand. Bottle's hand hurt which surprised him to a slight degree.
"AND FOR THE LAST TIME BOTTLE! MY NAME IS JIGGLES!"
At the same time Gesus tucked on Jiggles's rags pulling it down slightly, revealing a skull head with some cybernetic machinery attached to his head. His right eye had some sort of device that emits a red light. It was... unsettling.
Jiggles was fully cybernetic. Realizing that his appearance has been exposed he stood silent.
He was once a human not too long ago, he and many other prided themselves for having flesh(human). They could feel, taste, sense, smell, and hear, however in order to avoid getting old and feeble, they too succumbed to the desire to "upgrades."
"No...Don't... Look at me..." Jiggles, wanted to be alone, he's lost his desire, the sensation of being a human was now gone. He felt no emotion, however he had some sensory receptors implanted in himself. His behavior was the same however he felt nothing.
Bottle spoke, "Listen Giggles, I need your help with something."
"I'm done helping YOU! Bottle." Feeling bitter Jiggles pulled up his hood, and walked towards the back room.
"I've..heard all about it, you destroyed..Omega Tower!"
"My brain might be a computer chip...however I ain't that stupid to get caught up with the MPD."
"Do you know that the...ENTIRE CITY IS AFTER YOU?"
"Hell I'm just surprised you got out of your man cave, but to cause all of this? I think it would be better if you just stayed in that crummy apartment of yours." Jiggles turned and noticed a small figure in front of him.
Jiggles then noticed the little kid, she was afraid and her eyes were watery. What peaked Jiggles's interest was that she seemed to be completely normal. His augmented eye could detect most cybernetic implants, however the little girl had none.
He hadn't seen a child in a long time. It's been years since the last time he's seen a child. The ones that he has seen had implants and a lot of it. However, those were not children, they were fundamentally different.
They didn't cry nor did they laugh. It was almost scary to even look at them, especially for Jiggles. Whose augmented eye would show a X-ray of the individual in front of him.
He could see the machines intertwine and even infuse within the body of those children. To put it simply, "The body of a child, but of flesh of cold steel." Is what Jiggles would refer to children as such.
The kid in front of his optical device was for the lack of a better word ''Pure." Of course he could only see just the skeleton, and the general outline due to his X-Ray vision. However, that was enough for him to stay a little longer.
"Who's...the girl?"
Bottle replied nonchalantly as he picked up his cigar on the ground, "Her name is Gesus, and I'm helping her find her mother. That's why I'm here."
"What're...you? Running a daycare now?" Retorting comically, Jiggles looked at Gesus as if observing a unique phenomenon. And tried to talk in the softest voice possible.
"It's ok little girl, I-I... am huma-" Jiggles paused, his eyes dimmed as if he was thinking.
"Ah... hehe, I guess I can't say it anymore..."
"A word Bottle... in private," as Jiggles said this he walked past Gesus and into the back room, Bottle soon followed.
......................................................................................................................
The back room was relatively clean, and contained many tools. There was a furnace that had a small kindle, with a long piece of metal sticking out.
Bottle now lit his cigar and smoked, Jiggles was disturbed by this but he let it go this time and sat down.
Jiggles talked first, "You realize...her mother is probably dead."
[Huff] "Yea... I know" General Bottle blew out the smoke from his cigar, and stared into the fire.
"Even if her mother...was alive, Vermillion would certainly would have used...her as bait, by now..." Jiggles was about to continue however, his cognitive brain cells realized what Bottle has just said.
He refocused his train of thought and spoke again. [Outside the shack and explosion could be heard, however both Bottle and Jiggles decided to ignore it]
"I know you are no fool...Bottle, no matter how much you act like it, during....the war you've shown me that you've never done ...anything unless it serves some sort of importance."
"So tell me... Why do it for this...little girl?"
"And...please, don't bother giving me some bullshit, like saying it's the 'right thing to do' and stuff... I know you aren't the type to do that after all..."
[Huff] Smoke came out of Bottle's mouth.
"Fine..."
Bottle tossed his cigar into the furnace, and watched it disintegrated after a couple seconds and then replied. "I was bored,"
Jiggles looked at General Bottle with his optical lense. It had more functions than just an X-Ray. In a way, with high skillful observation one could use it as a lie detector, by looking at heart rate, chemical disturbances, and etc.
His eye socket would have a static red light, as he observed Bottle. As if a camera was focusing, and distorting.
He although his face didn't show any emotions as it was a skull, his silence seemed to indicate that he was unsatisfied.
"You.. do not lie and yet I feel as though... I've been lied too."
"Hah, I've been told that I have that kind of effect on people." Bottle walked up to Jiggles in a lax manner and put his hand on Jiggles mechanical shoulder.
"Alright, now how about that help."

Volume 3 Chapter 2: Warhead
Jiggles and Bottle came of the back room and saw that Gesus held a distorted gun and played around with it. She pointed it at Bottle and said.
"BANG BANG! Look Bwttle! I found gun that look like yours!"
Upon closer look the revolver was heavily damaged, the barrel was crooked, and the cylinder in which the bullets would be in was cracked with many scratches. The steel was dark grey, however some resemblance of white silver could be seen.
On the tip of the barrel an inscription carved in gold, Warhead.
Bottle looked at Jiggles, "I thought you said you could fix it but it looks even more bent."
"Listen... Bottle... I may have a reputation of making weird devices... but that gun is too complex..."
"Without... .the proper alloy and knowledge I can't... repair it, let alone make... something similar to it."
"Then what do you suppose I do to get it fixed?"
"In theory it's simple.... You just need 2 things... a gunsmith... and the alloy for the gun..."
"Don't... worry the alloy ain't some science fiction shit like vibranium..."
"It's actually quite more interesting... I've observed the gun closely and I noticed that... that it had many microscopic layers of a mixture of steel and diamond...."
"Like the silk of a spider... that has been looped around each other over millions of times... and like spider silk after a while it too can create a pretty damn... strong piece of metal... "
(That just sounds like bullshit with extra steps...) Bottle thought to himself.
"I'm even... surprised that it even broke..."
"And where can I find it?"
"I'll be honest... the most I could find about that alloy... was that it was only ever produced during World War 5... in other words..."
"So it's hopeless?"
"Yes..."
"However... we might still be... able to find this alloy from other weapons... that made were during the 5th World Wars..."
"And where do I get that?"
"I hear... that the black market is a big place... the biggest market you could find... is at Dark Side... as for the gunsmith you could probably find one at Dark Side... however if ..."
"Hmph... Alright, COME ON KID WE'RE GETTING OUTTA HERE!" Bottle walked out of the shack
"?" Gesus left the gun on a table and scurried along.
Jiggles who was left just like that, silently picked up the gun on the table.
"Bored... huh? Ye... I suppose I am bored too..."
Jiggles walked back into his workshop.
