Now for a little break. Right now there are 2 stories that have tied for possibly being Story 06. One of these stories is in the realm of PEGI 16/ESRB M (?) levels of content due to the exploration of it's theme. For those who need those details, the warnings will be on the Chapter Select page when it releases.

When this story comes out, there might be a problem for Apple app users. Even if you rate your app to be not for children and have a system to hide such stuff, Apple had decided to hide/censor works based on a secret system that they have not even shared with Tapas staff.

So if you use the app and have not added this story to your personal library, there is a good chance in the future my story is going to disappear from your search.

You can always mirror it on a less-finicky site, and mention the location here. It won't be as convenient for iDevice users, but better a slight annoyance than a memory hole.

This story was good, and I appreciated its theme. But the "I miss my umi" line, and "abandon my old life" from the previous page, kind of overshadow it. He remembers his family, *and* he's not going back? That's a wee bit of a bigger deal than "I didn't get to be the hero I thought I'd be."

(And strictly speaking, that's not following PMD canon. Traditionally, the human is summoned to save the Pokemon world, and when they're done, they are meant to go back to the human one. But then they end up wanting/choosing to stay, or to return to the Pokemon world at any rate. A one-way ticket is a big enough break from convention that it could be the focus of its own story.)
