"Do you think they'll stay?" Oliver asked.
"The girl will" Eli answered, "I'm not sure about her brother."
"Good riddance to him" Lillian sneered.
"Lily," Allison said softly "Don't be so mean. They just got out of the S.H.G.S headquarters, why would they want to risk the chance of going back?"
Lillian huffed and turned away.
"When I got out...", she murmured, "I wanted to fight with everything I had."
Eli spoke up, "We're all different. Remember, even if they don't want to stay here, we're going to help them find a safe place to live."
"Nowhere is safer than right here." Giovanni countered.
Their debate when on for a while, Gio and Lillian arguing that it be stupid to leave, Eli and Allison giving them reasons why the siblings wouldn't want to stay. Oliver took a neutral stance, saying that it be nice to have new members, but understanding if they wanted to go. Scarlett stayed silent, she didn't care if they stayed or left. They were cut off by the sound of the kitchen door opening. Isabella burst in with a smile across her face, and without hesitation she said:
"We're staying."
"Both of you?" Eli asked hopefully.
"Both of us," Felipe said, entering the room a moment after his sister.
Oliver cheered, and Lillian and Gio looked approving. Eli beamed.
"That's perfect, now we should get you two settled in. Come on, I'll give you the tour."
He stood up and walked out of the kitchen, with the rest of his friends trailing behind. Felipe and Isabella followed him back outside.
"Welcome to your new home! I know it's not much, but it's much better the S.H.G.S labs, eh?"
Both siblings nodded seriously. Anywhere was better than there. Eli continued with his tour:
"There are three major parts to our base, the house itself, the shed, and the garden. We grow our own food in the garden, and we use the shed for... defensive purposes. You two don't need to worry about that just yet."
"What should we be worried about?" Isabella asked, eager for something to do.
"Just rest up for now. Get acquainted with the group, see how we run things around here."
Isabella looked down, disappointed.
"Don't look so down," Eli said with a smile. "Come on, I'll show you the inside of the house."
