“Well she’s a-” Theo started, but May cut him off. “EVERYONE!” May said loudly to get their attention “I go to Westwood Creek middle school and today is my first day and I would prefer not to be late, so I highly recommend that we all get going,” May continued, then she turned around and started walking, Dawn followed and so did Theo. As well as Harrison but Serenity went the other way. “Harrison, why are you following us?” Dawn asked, looking puzzled. “Because I’m going to Westwood Creek Middle School,” Harrison replied simply. “But I thought you and your sister only do private schools,” Dawn said, but Serenity was long gone by now in the other direction. “Yes, usually. But I begged our parents if I could go to a public school because it seems fairer to me but Serenity is going to a private school,” Harrison answered. “Oh, that makes more sense now that-” Dawn started but she stopped when the ground started to rumble. “Theo… Dawn… Harrison… WHAT IS GOING ON!” May yelled. Just like that, everyone was panicking. But then the rumbling stopped. They were all huddled up. They looked around at each other and breathed a sigh of relief. And then the ground just under their feet disappeared.
