There really wasn't much to see on the inside that the siblings hadn't already. The cabin only had five total rooms after all: a living room, the boys & girls rooms, the kitchen, and the bathroom. Once Eli was done showing them around, he recommended that they go and 'be sociable.' Isabella was always excited to meet new people, so this would be no problem for her. Felipe, on the other hand, dreaded trying to make small talk with strangers. He figured he should just follow Bella and let her do the talking.
The siblings walked out through the back door into the garden, where Oliver was lovingly tending to his produce. He looked up and smiled at them both.
"Hello! Do you mind helping me with the garden?"
Felipe started to refuse but, Isabella cut him off.
"Of course we'll help! What do you need us to do?"
Oliver handed Felipe a rusted watering can, and gave Isabella an equally rusted shovel.
"I need you," -he pointed to Felipe- "To go inside and get Gio to fill that up"
"Sure thing," Felipe said reluctantly. Once he was inside, Oliver turned to Bella:
"Could you start digging a hole right here?"
Back inside the kitchen, Felipe stood face to face with Gio.
"Oh-um, hey" He stuttered. (Why was he stuttering?) "Your friend wanted you to fill this."
Gio gave him an annoyed look but still took the watering can. He held it for a moment, as though he was considering whether or not to fill it. Apparently, he decided he wouldn't, and handed the watering can back to Felipe. Felipe was about to protest when he noticed the change in weight. He looked down at the can and realized that Gio had filled it, just by holding it.
"That's a cool power," he said stupidly. Gio just shrugged and stalked off.
I should probably bring this back out
Outside, Bella and Oliver were both covered in dirt and mud.
"The hell? What did you two do?"
"Digging holes," they both said at the same time.
"Why?"
"For the seeds, silly!" Oliver said, waving a ziplock bag filled with plant seeds- "They need a nice hole dug so they can grow!"
"Okay... I got your watering can filled" Felipe said.
"Perfect! Bring it over here"
Felipe set the watering can down next to Oliver, careful not to spill its contents. Oliver then took out one of his plant seeds and dropped into the hole he was digging and covered it with dirt. Next, he picked up the watering can and watered the seed. Felipe figured that would be it, but Oliver placed both his hands over the pile of dirt and squeezed his eyes shut.
"What are you doing?" Felipe asked.
Oliver didn't respond and continued to concentrate on the dirt pile. Felipe was about to ask him again, but he soon saw what he was doing.
From between Oliver's hands, Felipe could see a plant sprout growing.
