“If I really was your best friend, then why did you avoid me?”
He hesitated slightly before answering, even if being drunk normally means that the tongue becomes looser, Jung seemed to want to keep it to himself… but now there was nothing stopping him spilling everything.
“I avwoided yu… becaze… I didn’ liek…”
“Didn’t like, what.”
Park, was starting to get impatient, as Jung gave him the information, he desperately wanted at such a slow pace, but in contrast, the proud person he knew wouldn’t even tell him this much if it would bruise his dignity. This was one of the only chances he would ever get to finally obtain answers before Jung would inevitably pass out.
“I didn’ liek wakin’ up in yur bed,”
Jung gripped at the soil beneath him, as if he were gripping at straws, as he spoke. He didn’t like the way Park always managed to get under his skin, he didn’t like the way Park would exploit his weakness for his amusement, that’s why Jung became such a proud person. He never wanted to display another weakness again… but Park always managed to make him look like a kicked puppy.
He hated it.
Being intoxicated did mean he would have a looser tongue and that’s what Jung wanted to avoid but… alas. It would never turn out well in the end.
“Oh. I see. Well, you must be in a lot of pain, so I’ll just take you home now, Choi doesn’t need to know.”
This was shortly followed by a sickly smile normally used when trying to hide one’s ulterior motive and feeling. For better or for worse, Jung couldn’t see the true intent of Park’s words, so he lamely hummed in agreement not aware of what Park had in store for him. He picked up Ji Won in a not-entirely-careful-or-graceful way, which caused him another wave of pain. Making him nestle more into Do Yoon’s chest while he balanced Jung’s body and his phone, which was their only source of light.
