Nanako was a bit confused when the man just stared at her with a blank expression. “What the fuck.” He burst into laughter, pointing at her. “Mr. Lucifer!” He hooted, doubling over.
Nanako stared at him, her mouth agape. Calypso sighed, shaking his head. “Mook, knock it off. Where is your father? Miss Tsukioka has arrived,” He said firmly.
Mook shrugged, “How the hell should I know? Pops is everywhere and nowhere. Find him yourself, Garden Boy,” He sneered.
Calypso’s carved eyes narrowed. “Call me by anything but my name again and, I just hate to say it, but you’ll have yours on a gravestone.”
Nanako shuddered at the menacing vibe that Calypso suddenly gave off.
Mook just laughed and gave Calypso a thump, which made his head sound very hollow. “Yeah, whatever. Dad’s in the parlor. Pour some beer on him, will ya?” He snickered, jamming a bottle of beer into Nanako’s hands, which caused her to take on a horrified expression.
The door slammed shut, and a small click could be heard, which indicated that he had probably locked the door. Calypso scoffed angrily and took the beer bottle out of her grasp, waving his free hand. A portal popped open and Calypso heaved the bottle inside of it. There was a crash from inside the room, followed by Mook’s shouting.
“I apologize deeply about that, Ms. Tsukioka. That is Mook Akatska, Lucifer’s son. He enjoys showing off,” Calypso grumbled the last bit with narrowed eyes and a sour tone. He shook his head, and regained composure. “Now, I’m sure you’d like it if I showed you to the real Mr. Lucifer,” He teased, and Nanako nodded in a flustered manner.

“So, this is the famous Nanako?” Lucifer spoke, an inquisitive expression drawn onto his sharp features.
Nanako stood in front of him, still looking a wreck from the airport-thing. She gave a curtsy, before straightening up. “Hello, sir. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” She said, voice steady and formal, though her insides were churning; she was more nervous than she’d ever been.
“If you follow Calypso, he will show you to your room, and you’ll have a chance to-” He paused, giving her a once-over from head to toe, “clean up. We’ll have dinner at 7:00. You’re dismissed.”
Nanako gave a quaint nod, her face flushing in embarrassment as he referred to her appearance. Calypso gestured for the girl to follow him, and he led her up a flight of stairs, down a hallway, and to a door that had a golden nameplate on it: ‘Nanako Tsukioka’. Nanako was impressed, though she didn’t express it. She opened the door, thanked Calypso, and then shut it behind her. She listened to the pumpkin-headed man’s footsteps fade away down the hallway, before a huge sigh released itself from her chest.
She was so stressed. This day had been impossibly insane; from Ryu confessing- kissing her-, having her luggage stolen, to meeting Calypso, Mook, and Lucifer. Lucifer was not at all what she had pictured. He didn’t have red skin, or bulging muscles, or horns and goat-like features… he was well-kept; like a lawyer, or a business-man. And he looked like a normal human- save for the crimson eyes.
And she never would have imagined that Lucifer would have a son. She recalled the memory of Mook’s face and compared them. Lucifer’s hook nose could be seen in Mook’s nose; though Mook’s was a bit toned down. The smallish eyes, narrowed and looking ready to say ‘wanna make a deal’ (though Mook's eyes were amber)? The thin lips, that she pictured being pulled into a sneaky grin. And the strong jaw-line, that almost matched perfectly between the father and son. Not to mention the extremely pale skin.
She was startled out of her thoughts by a knock on the door. Nanako quickly turned around and opened the door, expecting to see Calypso. But, a girl came into view, and her jaw almost dropped open.
This girl was unmistakably Lucifer’s daughter. She looked just like him; crimson eyes, black hair, the narrow eyes and sharp features. Nanako stared at her, expecting her to speak, but the girl stayed silent, too. What is this girl doing, challenging me to a staring contest?
Nanako became uncomfortable as the girl’s red eyes bored into her own. Now, Nanako understood that this was a stand-off; who would give and speak first?
There was at least a minute and a half of staring; unblinking tension. Before, finally, they both spoke in unison, “Hello.”
The girl cleared her throat. “You’re Nanako,” She said, raising an eyebrow up for a moment as if to gesture to her.
“You’re correct.” Nanako crossed her arms, staring at her expectantly.
“I’ve heard about you,” Lucifer’s daughter told her.
“Oh. I’ve heard nothing of you,” Nanako said, almost snapped, her words sharp as a blade.
“Didn’t expect you to. I’m Morgan. Mook’s sister. Lucifer’s daughter.”
“I could tell as much,” Nanako stated, raising her eyebrows, though her eyelids were half-lidded, giving her the illusion of disinterest, though she was as curious as ever about Morgan.
Without saying anything, Nanako moved to let Morgan in, who gladly took the offer and walked inside. “Wow. This room is so bland.”
Nanako shrugged. “I just got here. It’s not like I’ve had the chance to decorate and settle in,” She said, tossing a glance at Morgan over her shoulder and she walked over to the small seating area in the corner and plopped into a chair, crossing her legs and staring at Morgan, who sat as well, staring at her.
Morgan gave her a sour smile, her thin lips making her look more menacing. “Why don’t we have some tea?” She asked, mocking Nanako’s british accent on the word ‘tea’.
Nanako gave her a spiteful smile. “Oh, of course I would like some tea,” She sneered.
Morgan clenched her fist shut, and then opened it again, facing her palm toward the coffee table. A tea set appeared in front of them in a flash of dim green light. Morgan wiggled her finger, and the teapot lifted off of the tray, pouring its contents into two cups.
Nanako picked hers up, dropping some sugar cubes in before taking a sip. “So, what brings you to my room?” She asked bitterly.
“Well, I just wanted to check out the new student. There are quite a few here,” Morgan stated, leaning back in her chair as she took a drink of her own, plain tea.
Nanako raised an eyebrow. “Quite a few? What does that mean? I thought I was the only one staying here.”
Morgan laughed. “What, did you think that you would go to a public school? This is your school.”
