I held the pizza box and roses in my arms as I walked up to the campus giving a light shiver as the wind gusted through my hair wildly. Robin had been hard at work on a project related to his major and had been extremely stressed, so I had decided to give him a little surprise. I had gotten out especially early that day and had a bit of money saved up, so I had figured it would be alright to spoil Robin all considering.
I set the pizza and roses on a table just inside the lobby of the building that my boyfriend was currently occupying, Robin!” I sang into the receiver smirking as I leaned on my elbow, “Guess, who came for a visit!”
“Hmm… Okay…” Robin drawled on the other end the heavy sound of his typing making its way through, “I’ll be down in a minute…”
“You’re going to kill yourself working this hard.” I frowned drumming my fingers nervously, “Please, give yourself a chance to relax soon… I’m really worried.”
“I will…”
. . .
“Sully, I’m tired…” The red-haired boy moped over my shoulder with a deep breath as I held his weight, “What’re you doing here…? Weren’t you supposed to get out early today?”
“I suppose I was…” I smiled as I pulled away snatching up the roses from the table, “Seriously, Robin, don’t work yourself too hard…” I held the flowers out before me, “I love you, Robin, so don’t push yourself so hard!
“Sully…!” Robin gaped before squeezing me tight, “Your way too good for me!” He wheezed before noticing the food on the table behind us, “Gosh… I love you too… I really needed this today…Thank you so much!”
“Who’s too good for who?!?” I chuckled squeezing him back as I placed my face to his chest, “You’re welcome so much!”
