Vi Sat up in bed. Her head felt like hell flames, she slowly got up and made her way to the kitchen. She never had parents, Not that she really wanted to. She took a shower and got dressed, her hair was tied into a ponytail reaching her waist, a white T-shirt and sweatpants. She slipped on her slippers and made her way out of her tiny apartment. She hated the day, but it was a daily task of hers. She made her way into a grocery store.
“Goodmorning Vanessa!” Said the store clerk. He had a wide smile on his face and passed her a piece of paper.
“It’s a pumpkin patch candy hunt we would lo-”
“It’s Vi, and I don’t like the fall month I have to work too much. Sorry Dave it’s a lovely offer but I have school and work to deal with.” Vi interrupted, she flashed him a smile and paid for her groceries and left the store.
Once she left she got a nagging voice in her head it was the Legion. “You have another mission tonight. An old prison mate in west-east prison.” He said.
Vi nodded and walked down the train station, she took the next train waste. Her eyes were like a navigator. All she has to do is follow the red line,by the time she reached their it was noon. She entered the prison and went to the desk.
“I’m here to speak to Cedar” Vi said looking at the women at the front desk.
“Are you a relative?” she replied
“Niece, i’m his niece.” Vi looked at the inmates being walked to the cafeteria.
The cop brought her to the visitors room and went to get him. He walked into the room with calmness, he had long hair gray and shagged, his uniform neat and orange. He sat down and picked up the phone, Vi copied.
“You ain’t no niece of mine!” He sneered in a shagged voice that matched his appearance.
She smile he red eyes darkened, “No I am not your niece, but I am your reaper. And times up.
The man's eyes widened with fear, the walls seemed to swallow up with darkness until it was just them. Vi’s clothing changed into something that fit the occasion of death, Black. She wore a black hoodie from what he could see. She lifted her hand and a black lob in her hand slowly shaped itself into a scythe. She stood up and made her way towards him, there were no walls blocking them, they were just in a black slimy box.
“H-Have mercy!!” The man yelled. He backed into the wall with his hands up.
“The lord already had mercy.” Vi said, her scythe hungry for blood, she lifted it and sliced through the man through himself, and the darkness consumed him. Than everything went back to normal, her clothing the prison, almost everything like it never happened. Except the man, he seemed to be decaying, the smell being unbearable she left, wiping everyone's memory in the process. She made it back in time for her favorite TV show, “Ghost hunters”. She snuggled up to watch it. But something was off, it was unusually bright, very bright. Black.
