A cover for this first chapter, I hope you like it ^^
The name of the comic was taken from a song by Kino. It means (waiting for) CHANGES! I feel like it is once again very relevant in our current political and social climate, 30 years later.
You can listen to it here - https://youtu.be/zqrE8log5jM
(I specifically chose a music video done in Russian sign language, because it's amazing, but also was made in my city)
I'm working on the second chapter now, that will introduce one more character, and also show some of Dima's work. I will start posting when I have enough pages done.
You can follow me on twitter @Zaznayka for random doodles and old Dima art.
PS: Sorry if there is weird English, it's not my first language ^^'
This comic is a series of vignettes about Dima (33M bi), who works full time at the charity that helps people with HIV in Saint-Petersburg, and the people around him (assorted ages, genders and sexualities). This is my place to process the things that worry me in modern-day Russia and world. Be ready for dark themes, overthinking, lack of solutions and a flawed protagonist.
