I picked up the plates left behind on the table from breakfast this morning. My name is Maudie and I am one of the many maids of this house, also known as Lady Yasmine's personal maid. I get her out of trouble and keep tabs on her since she can be a real  trouble maker.

I sat the plates in the sink and started washing. The guest the Diaz had over last night was Blake Pelletier, also known as the son of my best friend Kate Pelletier. He was filling in for his mother yesterday as the mailman. Apparently,  I hadn't come fast enough to stop Yasmine from freezing him.

They apologized to him by letting him stay over last night since it was already getting late. Blake has a little sister named Makayla, she is very sweet and an honest girl for her age. She’s ten and turning eleven soon. 

Makayla and my daughter, Caroline, are really good friends and were about to have a play date today, which was why I had planned on leaving early.I dried my hands and put the dishes in a rack. When I turned around, I saw Yasmine making her way out the back door.

I knew where she was going, it was her usual reading spot and training spot, but mostly her personal hang out place. She loves the forest which was why this place had been made in a forest. The wilderness is just something she loves. I undoubtedly believe her and Makayla would get along great.

I sat the cloth I dried my hands with on the counter and headed out to follow her. I always have to keep an eye on her. We certainly don't want another incident...

I stood behind a tree and watched her. She was speaking to someone? "Hey there! You are really young and pretty scratched up there, are you ok?" Yasmine said to it. It must be an animal, she loves them but most who can't stand the cold, die quickly.

" I-I'm ok ,but I'm looking for my brother" I heard sniffles, It sounded like... Makayla? Oh no she must of been looking for Blake, she can't go here alone! its dangerous since there are still animals living here and its a deep forest, Kate must be worried sick...

Yasmine took her hand and started walking towards me, Oh no she can't know I still watch her at her secret spot. Just then, something tugged me back into the bushes and covered my mouth telling me to be quiet. I was scared but  thankfully, I was far enough for Lady Yasmine not to notice. 

When she passed me, I turned around and saw my colleague, also one of the many butler's, his name was Zack and he was a really good-looking guy and was very smart, I and the others always wondered why he picked this job.

"Oh gosh, thanks Zack for s-saving me! Heh...” I said with an embarrassing nervous laugh. “Oh, no problem Maudie!" he said with a beautiful charming smile.

He is too good for the likes of me...
