The elevator was shrouded in silence with both of them in a daze, Shin is deliberating if he should go see his doctor to determine his strange feeling, while Yeri is thinking about her brunch or maybe lunch.

Shortly after, the elevator halted to another floor, two young men were waiting outside and their gaze instantly locked to Yeri even before the door is wide open.

If there's a stairway to heaven, without a doubt, they just chance upon the elevator to heaven?

Unfortunately, borrowed moments don't last. Shin shot them a sinister look, sending off threatening vibes that he will undoubtedly give them a ride all the way down to hell, once they would try to step inside.

Why is there a devil in the elevator to heaven?

Is this supposed to be an elevator to hell and not the other way around?

One of the young men unconsciously retreated two steps back, feeling a shiver go down his spine.

Poor angel! captured by the devil, they thought.

Yeri frowned, looking at their terrified faces till the lift doors closed. What just happened? since when did she look scary?

"ignore them, society nowadays is full of creeps and weirdos." Shin uttered, breaking their silence. "by the way, I still don't know your name."

"Yeri, Yeri Zhi." she briefly replied.

Shin's gaze fixated on her beautiful side view, her nonchalant attitude still bothers him.

Could it be she's aware of who he is? did he unknowingly fell into someone's trap?

Shin tightly clenched his fist, if she's one of those scheming women then the consequences won't be easy.

"i think were here, is something wrong?" Yeri spoke, disrupting Shin's thought.

"nothing, let's go." He carried a blank look on his face but his mind is on a heated debate and firmly gripped her hand as they strode out of the elevator.

At the parking lot, Secretary Yun is frantically pacing back and forth beside the parked rolls royce phantom car, beads of sweat forming on his forehead and his hands were trembling.

For the past 8 years of working under CEO Shin Keir, this is the first time he feel extremely scared and stress, he even failed to sleep last night.

"I hope the boss didn't strangle the woman last night! or worst left her corpse somewhere in the open!" he mumbled to himself while his facial expression change in animation.

His Boss normally dislikes crowded places but he had no choice but to meet a client last night at Gaia Pandemonium bar situated within the hotel. It was around midnight when Secretary Yun briefly excuse himself and went to the restroom, however, his boss weren't around when he got back.

While passing around the bar's dance floor, to his horror, CEO Keir suddenly turned up from the chaotic crowd, dragging a drunk woman!!!

His boss is a known misogynist and always keeps a safe distance from women, so why is he holding a woman?! is this some kind of a mind play? that very scene keeps replaying in his head, giving him a splitting migraine.

After that, his uncertain if CEO Keir asked him to leave but he was so dumbfounded that it took him sometime to get back to his senses, alas, his boss and the woman is already gone.

What exactly happened?

Did that woman offended the demon business tycoon?

Will he lose his job for letting a woman get close to his boss?

Secretary Yun felt so confused and terrified that he ended up staying all night at the carpark, just taking short naps while checking his phone from time to time, afraid that he might missed a call from the demon king.

Then, it was already late this morning when he received a phone call from his boss, telling him to stay at the parking lot.

Several minutes later, he notice two figures step out of the elevator, no doubt it was his boss but next to him is a WOMAN?!

His eyes bulge out from shocked and his mouth looks like a fish out of water, unable to utter any words. Did his brain finally exploded?! or is it due from his lack of sleep that his seeing something unnatural? he fiercely pinch the back of his hand and almost screamed from the pain, it's real! the scene right in front of him is real!

On the other hand, Shin thought Secretary Yun was also dumbstruck upon seeing the woman next to him, since he had never seen him acted like an idiot before.

Shin's strange feeling worsened, is she a living painting that they have to stare at her? is there a shortage of beautiful women this days?

Yeri finds Secretary Yun's expression amusing, like a child, she smile widely and greeted him in a friendly manner. "hello, nice meeting you."

Secretary Yun froze and his face turned completely red, is she the same woman from last night? he didn't get a chance to see her face last night, but no wonder she captured the demon king's interest, she's no human but a goddess!

Shin sourly looked at Secretary Yun, the hell is he acting like a lovestruck idiot? should he ask him to start updating his resume? not to mention the insensitive woman, she dared to flirt in front of him while holding his hand!

"like what you see?" Shin scowled
