Wrath of Olympus

The Truth hurts

The Truth hurts

Dec 26, 2019

The fortress was clouded with a panorama of the surrounding land. From the towers stood medieval watchers, quiver and arrow ready to fly. This castle stood to inspire awe in a realm run on deference to royalty, to title and social status. From cloistered rooms, land parcels were given to lords for promised service. So the moment when his brother entered his castle Elyjah and Apollyon were well aware. When Rochel bit his hand a smile lifted on Elyjah’s face as he turned her with the force his hand. “There’s that fight, this may be your sister after all Selene..” Elyjah said as he yanked his bloody hand from her sharp teeth, she was able to leave a gash in the center of his palm but no matter. It wasn’t like he couldn’t heal, and now with both Sirens agreeing to help his cause he did the only thing he could do in this moment. He started by yanking off the Lacky from Rochel sending him downstairs he was no more of use. “Why don’t you do me the favor in welcoming my brother..”

Apollyon had already left to deal with the Witch which now left Selene and Rochel alone with the Vamperic. But not for long, another yank of the chain he would force both of them to their feet as he attempted to lead out his room. As they reached the hallway they would notice that his manor was the ego of Elyjah laid out in brick; it was overly large and ostentatious to the point of intimidation. As they walked he heard Selene as she asked him his plan why did he need two Sirens for one Witch.

She seemed to not only be the strong one she also seemed to hold the brains as well. It almost pained him to do what he has done to her..Almost. “Well, I doubt you Sirens would even know even if I explain it. You Sirens never seem to want anything to do with the surface. But anyway… Within the purity of the elements and the order of the wilds lingers a power beyond the marvels of civilization. Furtive yet undeniable, these primal magics are guarded over by servants of philosophical balance known as druids.

These Witches gain unparalleled abilities to call upon nature's wrath.” He told this story as he pulled Selene and Rochel along, with each tug caused the collar around their neck to tighten as he walked with them as mere dogs. “You see these Witches are companions to the Moon. Which is why there was a Witch that wrote on the stone tablet. I need you two to use that sexy Siren song you showed me into forcing this old witch to cast a certain spell.” As he made it to the throne room lights would shine through the ancient ruins.

Upon entering the throne room, Selene hissed from the sudden sunlight shining through the ruins. There were a bunch of ruins shrouded about encased with shadowy arms. Though it was a precarious place, it almost seemed....safe? Is that what she was feeling? How absurd. She was the furthest from safe around this man. She wouldn't even bat an eye if he was locked up in a box for eternity; saved her the trouble, "What is this place? Is it apart of your ritual?"

"If I had known how much of a tyrant you were, I would've never sang for you." she'd say, her narrowed eyes gazed at him as she wrapping an arm around her sister.

Rochel tagged along hearing what he had planned caused her to disliked the man even more then she had before. Her eyes slowly narrowed though true to her fairly quiet nature she didn't speak a word. Her eyes lingered on him and after he had proclaimed her sister the smarter of the two she remained quite still. She was busy absorbing the knowledge that he had freely given to them. She would let him think of her as being stupid when just like her sister she had a basic knowledge of the druids as well.

The tightening collar around her throat made her wince as it rubbed against her wounds and welts and as they were pulled along she used her sister to support her from slipping of being pulled to the ground completely in her weakened state. The fact that he needed two of them for the one witch told her that he would have a hard time compelling the witch for his pursuit of immortality. Perhaps if he needed them, he even feared her turning her magic on him for another reason and the thought of that made her have to hide the smirk that was straining to overcome her lips she allowed herself to use her own support to walk for a moment so his next tug would definitely bring her down onto her stomach, causing her to gasp for air. She smiled.
