I watched in horror as the boy in front of us stripped of his shirt without an ounce of shame. In front of all of us. I wasn't even mad about that. I was mad about what was under his shirt. He had so many scars, and he was so skinny. I wanted to murder his old group they did this. I looked around the room briefly. Alia looked about ready to cry along with Maddie and Aloe. I look back at Sagion, and see him reach to take off his pants. Faster than I can remember moving, I grab his hands, and hold them together. He flinches, and I mentally wince.
"Don't mind him, he was just surprised that you left your room, we all expected you to still be in here, sleeping," I tried to ease his worry, but he still seemed tense and on edge.
"Oh," There was a brief pause before he spoke again, "I'm sorry, I was just trying to find some food,"
Aloe's eyes softened, and he smiled sweetly, "No worries Hun, you can borrow my clothes anytime you want," Sagion eased up a bit, and smiled the biggest smile I had ever seen. He looked so innocent, so precious. I'm so glad we found him.
Alia cleared her throat from behind us, "Would you mind introducing yourselves?" She said it as a question, but we all knew better than to defy her. No matter how weak she appeared, we all knew we couldn't beat her. "Of course!" Aloe said a little too enthusiastically.
"I'm Aloe, and this is my mate, Oli!" I groaned at his usual springy personality, hoping it wouldn't scare Sagion. On the contrary, he giggled. We all gave him questioning glances, and he laughed more, "Sorry, but what if his name was Vera?" That caused everyone to chuckle, and I smiled at him. I was glad that he was loosening up. Aloe was a nice kid, really fashionable, and feminine. He was sweet, but really sarcastic, and an Omega. Oli was nice, but quiet. He kind of gave off a scary vibe, but was just really awkward.
"I'm Daisy, and this is my mate, Max," Daisy wasn't as happy as Aloe, but Sagion still smiled and nodded. These two were both Betas, and they were basically the complete opposite. Daisy was pale, and snarky, with light brown hair. Max had a dark tan, with black hair, and he was literally a ray of sunshine. Daisy wasn't in our fighting group, due to her blindness. Of course she was a great fighter, but no one wanted to risk her getting hurt.
"As you know, I'm Alia, and this is my mate, Jasin," Jasin had his arm around Alias waist. Alia was a strong, and independent woman, with a strong personality, and an even stronger magic force. Jasin waved, and Sagion smiled wider. Alia was a Beta, and Jasin an Alpha. They were both great people, and had similar personalities.
"I'm Kade," I grimaced at my lie, but I didn't want to tell him my real name. I received multiple glares from all of them, and hoped that they didn't say anything. I couldn't read what he was thinking, and hoped he couldn't tell what I was thinking. Instead, he smirked, and said, "Nice to finally be able to put a name to a face," he grinned even wider as he finished, " 'Angel' " I turned the brightest red as winked at me, and cursed myself for already liking him this much. I could hear everyone, even Daisy laugh, and blushed even more.
