"Draco... Draco darling, wake up." Harry's voice drifted through Draco's mind awakening him from a luxurious sleep. Draco's hands slid slowly across the fresh linnen sheets until they found the soft, warm skin of his brave Gryffindor. "Hello stranger," Draco's voie came as a broken whisper saturated with the gloom of sleep, "Where have you been all these years?" Harry's ace was painted with a mask of concern before he replied "Obviousl batting for the wrong team from what I see before me!" Harry's eyes followed his hand down to Draco's waist before he pulled him close and kissed him with all the energy one could possible muster at this untimely hour.
Darkness seeped into the corners of Draco's vision and Harry's lips seperated from his own causing an unstopable sorrow to sink into Draco's very soul. "Harry! Harry no! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!" Draco cried out in a fruitless attempt to prevent his love from leaving him alone once again.
"Draco! Draco please open your eyes!" The sound of the familiar plea caused the blonde's eyes to spring open within seconds. Everything was a smudge of colour with no asigned shape. As his eyes began to focus and adjust to the overpowering luminousity of the Lumos charm. Before the light was snuffed, he saw the beady brown eyes of his 'old pal' Vincent Crabbe. "Is that you Crabbe? Where, where am I Crabbe?" Draco's voice was quiet and quivering with a stressful fear. When there came no answer, Draco demanded, "Vincent Crabbe! I swear by the Malfoy name: if you don't tell me where we are or what is going on I will personally drag you into the burning pits of hell where you will spend an eternaty!"
Crabbe chuckled slightly at the clear furiousity entrenched in Draco's commands. "I just got back actually and it's not so bad -- once you get used to the smell of course." Draco was astounded by Crabbe's seemingly natural use of effective sarcasm. "Also, lets all give a warm welcome back to the Draco Malfoy that we all know and love!" As Vicent's smug face laughed, he was joined in a round of applauseby at least two other people. A high five was audiable from across the room.
"You know what you have to say." The sturn voice of a dominant woman sent a jolt of terror through Draco's entire anatomy, paralising his every cell. "Draco... Draco I'm so sorry but: if you want me to live, I have to let you live without me." Harry's words were strained and monotonal with a slight hint of 'Why am I doing this to us?' Draco's eyes welled up, he was unable to control the waterfall of tears that had begun to stream down his face. He felt Harry drop to his knee before him. He reached out to run his hand through the ruffled black hair that he had grown so very fond of.
"May I? Just one last time and then I'll leave?" Harry's voice shook. "You may." Vincent permitted causing Draco great confusion. Before he had time to question their brief conversation, Harry's lips were presses passionatly against Draco's. He leaned in not letting Harry escape before he was satisfied. Harry's hands found the nape of Draco's neck, pulling him closer. "I won'tlet you go Harry." Draco whispered against his lips as he locked his fingers into the black mop that was Harry's hair. "I'm sorry Draco but I have to or neither of us will make it out of here alive... If I could stop this, I would but I don't have the power to." Harry allowed tears to trickle down his cheeks before he stood up infront of Draco,
"I'll love you, always"
He pressed his lips against Draco's for one final time before he fled the house and stumbled onto the misty pavements of Grimmauld Place. I need go get my stuff out of our appartment before it's too late, Harry thought to himself, I just hope he keeps up his side of the deal.
