A lot of continuous comics use the last panel from the last episode as a fast recap, I like the idea but tell me if you hate it or like it! I imagine late binge readers have some slight deja-vu when they see the same panel twice but I personally enjoy it for the things I´m up to date on.
Also, take the term Furry in simplicity and jest, In this house we love our anthro and feral friends, my characters just need to learn nuance.
