In the Year 2099...

I have a low tolerance for cliche'd openings. The second I hear a future date, see a spinning planet earth in space, hear meantion of some weird made up alien race name, or watch a mech robot suit fly across the screen, I start zoning out. There are exceptions to each and I will try to give it a chance... but usually the aforementioned openings ensure i won't enjoy it.
