Terror on eight legs

This happens a lot. I suffer from full-blown arachnophobia, due to a very traumatic child hood experience. Every time I find a spider, usually at un-holy-o'clock, I end up running back to bed and shaking my boyfriend awake until he gets rid of the thing.
Unfortunately, I'm also more-or-less non-violent, so, I feel like crying when I cause the death of the demon spawn.
