Aura Arelious, Age: 13

(Warning, triggering content)

Aura yelped as her stepmom dragged her out of bed to wake her up on Sunday morning. Her stepmom left her on the ground and walked out without a word.

Aura took a shower then went downstairs. As soon as she entered the kitchen to eat something, her stepmom shoved her out and gave her a list of chores to do before she could eat. Aura was easy to push around, being 5'0, small, and thin. She had long brown hair and was rather plain except for her eyes, which were purple. She never looked people in the eyes so they would be less likely to notice.

She did the chores, ate quickly, and left before her stepmom could give her any more to do. She immediately went to the nearest walking track and disappeared into the woods. Nature calmed her. She loved being somewhere so pure, with nothing man-made nearby. She didn't even stay on the walking track. She would just disappear into the trees.

She also loved the animals and plants and smells and... Well she just loved everything. She wandered around for about 3 hours before going to a garden center nearby. That's where she worked. She loved it, even if her stepmom took all of her money for drugs and to use at bars.

This was Aura's last day of working long hours. School started the next day. She wasn't happy about it, but she was pretty smart, so she did well. The day passed quickly. She came home to a drugged-up stepmom who randomly slapped Aura and sent her to bed. Aura was rather shocked. Usually it was worse than that- not that she minded.

That night, she woke up halfway off her bed. She quickly grabbed the small trash can off the floor and threw up from the queasiness she felt. She got the bottle of water off her nightstand and washed out her mouth in disgust. As she put it back she noticed something crazy. The flower seed she had recently planted in a pot beside her bed was growing. It grew and grew until it was full-sized. Then it shrunk back down. She blacked out.

All together they make Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. When these 4 come together, their powers heighten to a remarkable level. They may be unstoppable. With the threat growing rapidly, only a 4 match can destroy what's sure to come. At the last minute, another powerful elemental is pushed into action, his powers unknown. Will they win the battle?
