Okay, Now that I have bought this gift, the next step will be to knock the door give then give the gift and then give the mobile number and then exchange a few words with them and then hopefully never see their faces again. Here we go… Wish me, luck peeps.

*Leo takes a deep breath and knocks on the door. *

*The door opens*

"Umm... Good evening mam, I am your neighbour and I am here to give you this welcoming gift." I said these as she was opening the door and when the door opened completely...Why did I get a sense of Deja vu as soon as I saw this woman's face it really made me lose all my composure, and to make it even worse she looks really beautiful and believe me when I say this, she is absolutely gorgeous. And very young too... she is one of those onee san types...you know the 'ara-ara' ones

*The woman hesitates a bit but then happily accepts the gift*

"Good evening... And thank you for the gift--"

*The woman makes gestures, enquiring about his name.*

"Oh sorry... It's Leo- Leo Moore Mam"

What is happening to me? Why am derping so much? Come on Leo you are the best you can do it... 

To be honest what surprised me the most was that the woman took a gift from me... Most of the people I know would give me death stares as soon as I mention the word gift and they would probably do a full x-ray check before opening the gift received from me... It's just that I'm not used to such sweetness.

"Thank you so much, Leo, and please call me Mrs Cornell."  the woman said with bright smile on her face as if she was really happy to meet me.

"Yes, Mrs Cornell." I quickly said after she finished talking, it was as if I was dazed by her and soon I realised it and thought

"Leo please come in..... I'll make some tea or coffee." The woman enthusiastically gestured me to come in with opening the whole door... 

Oh, my heart is melting! No one has been this nice to me in such a long time. I might just take the offer, but I know it's just a facade and once I'm done with her she would not even care to look at my house. It's just how people are.

"Thank you, Mrs Cornell, but I've got some work to do so... I will surely come by, next time." I said with a wide arching smile on my face and sparkle in my eyes, thinking I'm good too you know. I knew that I'll never be visiting her house again.

"Oh... It's okay. Maybe next time but I really wanted to introduce you to my daughter." The smile on her face disappeared but, she had this sparkle of hope in her eyes and I won't lie but I was so lost in her beauty that the sentence I heard took some time for me to comprehend...

"Ok so then I'll take my leave and.....DAUGHTER?" I screamed loudly as the words she spoke settled in my brain as I was sure that she was around 20ish but to have a daughter I mean you could have waited and searched around in the waters you know... I still had 3 years... as I started to lose it I thought,

Calm down Leo, Think about your past.

"I'm sorry mam but could tell me, what's your age?" I said collecting myself and clearing my voice and sounding a bit more mature compared to a horny loner begging for attention.

"Oh, Leo isn't it a bit rude to ask a woman about her age?" The woman blushed as she said this and placed a hand on the mouth which was the clear gesture for my loner's heart to beat rapidly and my mouth to drool like a fountain... your boy knew how to control emotions.

"I'm just kidding Leo, it's 40 I mean isn’t it obvious." The woman said shyly and with a invigorating smile.

"What! I thought you were like 25. You look so young. I didn't even think that you could have any children, especially my age." I lashed out screaming again as I was lost of common sense at that point...

"Oh come on Leo you're just making it up," 

Mr Cornel said as her face was completely red at that moment and it was driving more and more crazy moment by moment as all I could think was that it was a prank or something like that... cause YouTuber's these days could do anything for content.

I know it's rude to ask any women about their age and stuff but I did it deliberately for 2 reasons, first of all, I was confirming my doubt here. The second thing I did was compliment her age cause if you do ask any woman's age just correct yourself by saying ‘But you look so young.’ that's flattery 101.

"And yeah Leo, I do have a daughter who is about your age and coincidentally she goes to the same high school you're in." The woman said with regaining her posture back to normal.

Whaaat, now if I try to narrow it down, by using my memory and simple probability the chances of my neighbour being Jenifer are just ridiculously high.

But remember it's still not 100% it’s about 85% but it's still high and...... Wait a minute how did she know I went to the same high school as her daughter's?

*Leo looks at the dress he is wearing and gets very embarrassed*

Shit did I just forget to change my dress? Oh well not a big deal for a loner like me.

"It's okay Mrs Cornell, we'll meet next time, for now, I'll take my leave." I said by recollecting myself and with a mature tone, cause learning about the fact that my classmate is going to be this close to my house is not the most exciting thing for me... It actually brings me back to my loner persona.

I think I am forgetting something very important.....

*Leo checks his pocket and finds a note.*

Oh shit, I forgot to give her this.

"Excuse me, Miss but I forgot to give you my mom's mobile number she told me to give you this and asked you to call her whenever you're free."

"Oh no problem Leo, I'll give her a ring." The woman said in an assuring tone and smile.

*Leo leaves their house and goes to his house.*

You must be screaming at me, 'Leo why didn't you take the offer you dumb idiot you could've met her daughter and it could've been a start to something.' And I couldn't agree less with you...

It is the best way to start a romance but I'll tell you a secret. Leo and romance don't go hand in hand. I just know that I was never built for romance and that's that. Moving on to the next thing Mom did tell me to give her a call and yeah I have to make the dinner and then read that book--.

*Leo goes off to do all the things he mentioned and after doing it --*
