The very first thing Maria felt was dread, panic, sorrow. Then anger and hate. 'So he finally got around to it, huh?! Finally got around to destroying Lilith just because of my father?!' She looked around frantically, trying to spot a guard, and saw one off in the distance telling people where to go for safety and medical assistance. Sparing no time to think, Maria rushed over and grabbed the man by the shoulders.

"Did you see him?! A man, about yeigh heigh, dark brown hair, blue eyes, looks like an a-hole?!" The guard seemed frazzled by the sudden questions, but as his mind absorbed the questions he realized what she was asking. "Yeah..Yeah, of course ma'am. Was yelling something and sounded nuts, right before setting the middle of the town on fire."

"Did you see where he went?!"

"Off into the forest, about that way-" before the man could even finish his sentence, Maria was rushing off to where the man was pointing. He thought about pursuing the strange girl, but there was the elderly and injured to be taken care of first. He did not wish to lose his job, no, he was planning to quit soon but not yet.

"Argh! Always the runner, aint' he?!" Maria grumbled to herself, slightly chuckling at the old joke. But now was no time for jokes. Glancing down a couple times on the way at her breast pocket to check on her new friend here and there, she eventually stopped at a clearing. "I don't see him.. Musta' ran pretty far I'm assuming.." Thinking about the irony of it all, how normally she's the one being chased by Keith and his gang, she absent mindedly sits down on a tree stump to collect her thoughts.

WRITER'S NOTES (AKA YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS BIT XD):

Oooh, boy. It's been awhile. Sorry to anyone who actually reads this that I took a 10000 year hiatus XD. Some stuff was going on in my life plus mental health issues, and while I can't guarentee anything, I'm going to try to continue writing and publishing this on an actual schedule. I have school though, so perhaps every other Friday. I want to get some pages built up though so I'm ahead of the game, so I'll try to do that when I can. Thank you to anyone who reads this!
