Vivian looked around at the much smaller group of people, and realized that someone seemed to be missing. The alumni had all slowly left as dawn arrived, and only the current Eccentrics remained sprawled out in various stages of consciousness.
Fintan was also still there since it turned out this was actually his house and Azazel and his sister had moved in with him since they were actual family. Vivian hadn't caught exactly how they were related to each other yet outside of that. They might have been cousins outside of the fact that Vivian couldn't find a single trait that they shared. This line of thought lead Vivian to realize that he hadn't seen Loralai at all that week, and she wasn't even at home when all of her known friends and associates were there.
Since Philip and Azazel were with Vivian all night, he figured Fintan would know best where his charge was. So he got up and went to the kitchen where Fintan and Tara were quietly arguing over who was making breakfast and who was going to do the dishes.
"Hey Fintan-"
"I told you to call me Finny like everyone else does." Fintan quickly reminded Vivian before he could continue. Tara used the distraction to take over cracking and stirring the eggs in a bowl.
Vivian felt a bit nervous about suddenly calling him by a nickname, but still quietly whispered the nickname before continuing."... Finny, I was wondering where Loralai is. Azazel mentioned that his sister would insist that I come over, but I have yet to see her…"
Everyone who was awake paused and went quiet when Vivian asked the question innocently. Instead of answering, Fintan looked towards Azazel who had gotten up and had been walking over with a stack of empty popcorn bowls that got left in the living room. He then looked towards Tara who had gently put the egg she was about to crack down. A look that Vivian couldn't read passed by on Fintan's face.
Vivian looked between the three of them confused. Philip rushed over and put his hand on Vivian's shoulder. "He still hasn't been told anything, sorry."
"It's fine, I just forgot that it's not common knowledge outside of the club…. I should have realized Vivian hadn't heard from Azazel or Loralai yet." Fintan looked awkward and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Did I ask something wrong?" Vivian got really confused and worried.
Tara was the one who spoke up this time. "It's nothing to worry about Vivian, just my cousins not openly revealing their Eccentricity to people, and my scatterbrained husband forgetting that."
Wait TARA was the one related to the twins? And husband? Does she mean Fintan? Vivian was shocked by the news that he wasn't expecting, more than realizing that he still hasn't uncovered the twins Eccentricity or got a proper answer to why Loralai wasn't there.
His confusion was apparently quite noticeable on his face, since Philip quickly ironed out details for Vivian. "The twins are related to Fintan through his recent marriage to Tara. Due to some private circumstances the twins have been moved around between family members until they ended up with their grandparents that they share with Tara. They still didn't feel entirely comfortable, so when they saw Tara again and bonded with both her and her fiance, they asked if it would be possible to move in with them. So here they are. As for their Eccentricity… it's up to Azazel and Loralai when they want you to know." Philip directed the conversation to a slightly awkward Azazel, who obviously didn't want to talk about it yet.
"Umm… I would have to talk with my sister first and we would have to agree on it before we talk to anyone each time we want to share…" Azazel looked away like he didn’t know what to do.
It was nothing like the constant strength and confidence Vivian always saw him portray the few times they were in the same place together. The guy who seemed like he had no care in the world suddenly had a care about this elusive secret uniqueness about him and his sister. Just what was their Eccentricity? How bizarre did it have to be to silence the whole house instantly? Just how weird did it have to be to top a Prince otaku?

Philip knew that Vivian had questions, but didn't know what would be okay to ask. Philip wanted so bad to help and answer everything he was pondering about, but it wasn't his story to tell Vivian. The best he could do was distract everyone from the awkward feeling that was penetrating the air.
"So, Finny… is there anything you wanted to share with the class pertaining your over protective nature towards your wife?” Philip jokingly nudged Finny, not expecting an actual answer to his questioning.
Fintan lit up bright red and started stammering, leaving Tara to take the reigns and simple state. “We are expecting.”
“Wait, seriously?! I was just kidding around.” Philip excitedly grabbed Tara’s hands, knowing immediately that she was telling the truth since she wasn’t one to joke around often. After all, the only actual irresponsible thing she ever did in her whole life was marrying the goofball standing next to her before graduating. “Congratulations Tara! This is so exciting!”
Everyone else who were awake came over as well to congratulate the couple. They were only married half a year before, and they were already expecting their first child.
“We have so far only told Arai, Zeph, Adrian, and Victor, along with a few members of the family of course." Fintan listed off all the people who had already heard the news.
Philip's eyes lit up at the mention of the honorary Eccentric alumnus. "Oh yeah, how is everyone? I never got new contact info for them after they went their different ways." Philip turned to the semi-lost Vivian next to him and explained a little bit about the mention of even more new people. "Adrian, Arai, and Zephaniah all graduated last year with Fintan, and Victor graduated the year before that. Tara was originally in the same grade with them, but missed a year at the start of middle school due to personal reasons. The six of them were inseparable throughout all of school. Unfortunately the others had other activities so they weren't actual members of the drama club, but they still helped out occasionally in their free time." Philip chuckled. "You should have seen Zephaniah whenever he wore a dress, he was on par with your step-father when it comes to cross-dressing."
Vivian nodded slightly awkwardly, but still obviously thankful for the background. Philip could tell that he was starting to feel a little left out since he repeatedly was the only one who didn't know what was going on.
"Yeah, those were the days… they are all still doing well. Arai has been following her dream to travel the world, and Zeph has been chasing her for the most part to all the exotic places. He still comes to visit since he is still a huge sis-con for his little sisters. Victor and Adrian, on the other hand, are settling down nicely with Victor's family at their wolf reservation. Adrian has been helping homeschool Luna during their free time as well." Fintan looked a bit bittersweet. “It’s kind of weird how fast time flies sometimes… It feels like just yesterday we were putting on Robin Hood.” He turned to Vivian to keep him on the same page. “That our first play with the drama club by the way.” Fintan then got a far-away look in his eyes before muttering one last sentence. “You young’uns better appreciate the time you still have in high school…”
This time it was his wife who harassed him about being around the same age as everyone else. Her complaint was less subtle as Azazel’s though due to the fact that she jabbed him in the side with the handle of the spatula she was holding. “Don’t call them ‘young’uns’ like a grandpa. You just graduated last year so don’t act like it was ‘oh so long ago’.”
"Fine, whatever my Honey Bear wants." Fintan started fawning over his wife again. Showing off way too much PDA for most of the Eccentrics to handle.
Everyone left the newlyweds, and soon-to-be parents, to themselves in the kitchen, and filed back into the living room, being careful not to step on the ones sprawled out asleep on the floor. As yet another play recording got put in to watch, Philip took a moment to actually mull over and try to digest everything that had happened recently.
Philip was surprised about how much news could be announced within only twenty-four hours. Vivian had learned a little bit about the ties his step-father had to this town, and hopefully would hear the rest of Theodore's story later. Then Philip and Azazel saw first hand Vivian's panic attack. The result of him cheering up being that they both learned that Vivian was a better dance than either of them combined. All of the Eccentrics then had met their drama god's stepson, leaving the stepson speechless at the full level of fame he had here. Now even Fintan and Tara are spilling news of a newborn on the way… There was just so much to unpack… What other shocking events could happen now?
