Maldives - Packing Tips

Packing for trips is always a task , atleast for me. I want to keep it light but still have everything essential with me :) So, when I began packing for the Maldives trip I was thinking what all shall I pack ? We were in Maldives for around 7 days , on public islands i.e. a chance to enjoy the beautiful private beaches as well as see the local life. Now 7 days seemed alot to be just on the beach, so I took along with me my novels, my colors and paints etc, to keep my self busy whilst enjoying the maldivian beaches.... Honestly, I never got to open the novel and felt like the 7 days just flew by !.
