The next day Cecil’s mother forced her to get out of bed, and go to school,

“There’s no way I’m letting you skip another day of school.”

“But mom~”

“ no! Listen here, young lady. I know what you are going though might be hard, but she is your best friend. If you're willing to cut contact over a kiss-”

“ it wasn't just a kiss, mom! She told me she had feelings for me, and I could feel the passion in that kiss. I can't face her without thinking of it.”

Her mother bit her lip, thinking of a way to ensure her daughter that everything was going to be alright, but she didn't know what to say.

“ cupcake, I don't know what to say. Truly, I'm at a loss for words.” running her fingers through her hair, she continued to think of 5hings to say but yet again, nothing.

“ Mom, can I please stay home.”

“ Fine, but tomorrow we will not be discussing it. You go, no questions asked.”

“ Thank you, mom.” she felt her way to her mother, and gave her a big hug.

Meanwhile, at school. Hope sat like a flower in her shade, every second that went by and Cecilia didn't show made her wilt little by little.

“ a no show, again? I guess she really hates you.”
