When we last left Debiddo and the others, they were on the road heading to Tenchō Tower where the chaser exams will be held. While walking, Debiddo increases his speed to talk to Himawari. “Soo, Hima, how long do we have left till we get to the tower?” Debiddo says as he put his hands behind his head while walking. Himawari then stopped walking and turned around to confront Debiddo with disrespected glare on her face. “First off we are not friends, so don’t call me by that name. Second of all the only reason I’m helping you is so that I can see you fail these exams and go home in defeat. So, it’s best that you remember that if you know what best for you.” “Ok, ok, sheesh I got you,” Debiddo says as everyone continues walking. “So, how long…..Hiiimmaaaa” Debiddo says now provoking Himawari. “That’s it!” Himawari grabs Debiddo while a gust of wind flows around her. “Alright you two, that’s enough!” Oshiro says as knocking both of them across their head. “I think this is a good spot to rest.” “Rest?” Himawari says “we only been walking for 20 minutes!” “Look Himawari, I am an old ass man, and I have been walking for three human days and used a crap ton of my spiritual energy getting here. If I want a break, then I will get me a break goddamnit. Besides I need to teach Debiddo one more thing before we get to the tower. “Humph! Whatever.” Himawari says as she goes to a nearby tree to sit down by. “Hmm? What is that?” Debiddo says as he does pull-ups on a tree branch until suddenly breaks. “Sigh," Oshiro says as she is slightly annoyed at Debiddo's antics. "I have to teach you a technique that you will need to know to make it as a chaser. It’s called butsuri release. “What the hell are you even talking about?” Debiddo says with confusion. “You just now teaching him butsuri release? That’s one of the basic techniques you learn when you are a kid!” Himawari says as she scolds Oshiro from the tree. “Listen here, little girl.” Oshiro retorts. “I do everything for a reason. He wasn’t ready for that technique yet. If he was, he would have been trained in butsuri release earlier fool…now like I was saying.” "I'm not a fool" Himawari mudders under her breath. she then sighs, throws her hands in the air, and goes back to relaxing by the tree. "Butsuri release is a technique where you utilize your spiritual energy to heighten your physical attributes," Oshiro says. You use this technique so that you handle blows from demons and handle otherwise deadly damage with no problem at all. “Ooooh so this is like some type of spirit cushion type thing. Debiddo says in amazement “…Yes…Exactly.” Says Oshiro, surprised that he was able to understand so quickly. "Alright let’s start your training."

“Alright first off we got to work on your spiritual energy output,” Oshiro says as he draws a circle on the pavement with candles placed at all four points of the circle. Oshiro continues to speak. “Your spiritual energy right now flowing like a wild river in your body,” Oshiro says as he points a stick that he picked up at Debiddo’s chest. “With this lack of spiritual output control, you will die in a heartbeat if you try to fight a demon. That’s why you need to first focus that spiritual energy into one point, your chest.” “Ok!” Debiddo says with energy. “Wait, whaaaat, you are actually listening for a change without interrupting me with a crap-ton of questions? I feel a tear coming on.” Oshiro says as he pretends to cry. “Forget you old man! Give me a break!” Debiddo says insulted and annoyed. “Fine, Fine” Oshiro retorts “Just teasin’ you.” He says with a chuckle. “Now I want you to sit in this circle and meditate…You do know how to meditate don’t ya?” “Yeah,” Debiddo responds. “I’ve seen a lot of people do it in movies and video games plenty of times” “Movies? Video gam..ok what even is that?” Oshiro says perplexed “N..Nothing don’t worry about it” Debiddo replies. “Whatever, anyways just sit on this circle and meditate,” Oshiro says as he sits down with his legs crossed in front of Debiddo. “Alright clear your mind and focus on nothing but your spiritual energy.” Inside Debiddo’s body, the bright blue spiritual energy that flows all around his body starts swirling near the center of his chest. Oshiro continues talking. “Now pinch a small piece of your spiritual energy off and separate it from the rest.” Debiddo makes a good attempt but when he tries to separate the piece of his spiritual energy, he fails. “Damn it,” Debiddo says knowing he failed. “That’s ok,” Oshiro says with assurance. “Now try again.” Debiddo then tries it a second time. He successfully moves the piece of spiritual energy to the upper part of his chest, just to have it disperse. After a few attempts, he was able to get the energy to his upper chest. “Alright, I did it what now what?” Debiddo says as he struggles to hold the two energies together. Oshiro continues, “Now keep a large amount of energy in the center of your chest as you move the smaller amount back to the outside of your body like you are putting on clothes.” “Ok,” Debiddo says he then stretches the spiritual energy around his body as a thin white aura. “You have now unlocked butsuri release Debiddo. How does it feel?” Oshiro said with a sense of pride. “I feel like my body is warm. It’s like my whole body got a warm heat all over. Debiddo responds. Himawari then turns around and looks with amazement at Debiddo’s form. “Wow,” She says smugly hiding the fact that she is impressed. “I see you finally reached that form. Good for you.” She then starts to get up and walk towards Debiddo. “However, you are still weak compared to me. You better get stronger through these exams or else you will get killed by a demon in no time at all.” “Trust me Hima, I do not plan to die anytime soon, because I will reach my goal and avenge my mother and everyone at my school. You can count on that.” Debiddo says with intensity in his eyes. Himawari walks away smugly and then looks slightly at Debiddo trying not to get caught by his gaze. She then smiles at his determination while walking away to a nearby tree.
