"So, that's how it is." I said. We were gathered cause Andrew asked us to. He told us about the map and the guide. But what's going to happen now? Do we stay here? Find an evacuation zone? Find out about them? I don't know what to do anymore.

"My mission stays the same, Rere." Andrew said shortly. I turned to him.

"I will find my family. It never changes." He put on straight face which leaves me no chance to say anything back. He wanted to be with us to do that. I get his point.

"I'm fine either way. As long as I can stay alive with you guys." Linda agreed. Both of them assured her that it's okay. Tyler too. It seems like they trust my decision.

"Let's go to the main office." I know it's far and it's located in the center of the city, but we need to know the truth. Not to mention, we need an info on the evacuation zones to find Andrew." They nodded. It's decided.

According to the map we found, the company headed north from here. So, we need to cross the main roads and avoid many zombies along the way. Of course, the looters too. We brought many supply and obviously, will be their main target.

"I can't believe we have to get past them. I mean, the looters. Are they really crazy?! Can't they see we were trying to survive? So annoying." Andrew said angrily. He really mad about them. Who doesn't? They steal for their survival. Even though, we were the survivor. I don't know about the other survivors but I believe they existed. And we have to help them. It's no excuse to abandon them.

"Calm down, Andrew. It's fine." Andrew huffed angrily and sat down.

"So... what are we gonna do then, Rere? I understand about the plan but the streets are crawling with them, so we'll have a hard time going through unnoticed..." He asked. I smiled evilly, then he shuddered.

"Sometimes, I wonder if my decision to follow you was okay..."

"I had a plan." His eyes widened, "Explosion." One word said it all.

BOOM!

"Seriously?!" Andrew ran behind us. He finally catching up to us. Well... I guess his reaction was expected but at least, it worked.

"What? Do you want to stay there forever?" I answered him while laughing out loud. I carried my little brother on my back with Andrew in tow. He brought my bag too. Linda avoided grasping hands of the looters extended towards her. The looters armed with weapons of every type, they appeared from the shadows of alleyways and swarming the streets. So we had no choice but to go down the alternate paths, the long way around the building.

We're already halfway there, but none of us are tired from fighting them and not to mention them too. Ughh... I already anticipating this but can't believe it's still not enough. I thought and more thought were flying through my head as I forced my legs to move. Luckily, there's no car or bikes that Looters used to chase us.

"We're almost there!" Andrew said to us. I can't believe he's still managed to focus among this chaos and he brought my bag too. Linda were behind us to cover for incoming attacks from all of them.

"Almost..." I heard Andrew who ran far ahead of me, opened the door and yelled at us to run faster. We complied and made it. He pressed a button and it closed down. Many yellings and cursing from the looters and thankfully, we were inside. Thanks to Andrew. Like before.

"Hah... hah... we finally made it..." Andrew panted heavily. I rest down and my brother climbed down.

"I can't inagine what would've happen if we stop by your mother's office, Andrew..." Linda said. I was surprised, so that means Andrew didn't want to bother us. But I could figure out a plan if he said that to me earlier. We'll be able to make a detour. I noticed Andrew sat silently beside me. He looked at me, knowing that I stared at him.

"It's fine, Rere." He brushed it off. I want to say something but he looked right at me. His expression are telling me not to talk about it any further. It can't be helped then. I sighed heavily. We were one step closer to our goal but at what cost?

Andrew took out his gun shortly before he made his way to look around the building they were in now. The hallway was entirely well lit, but that was to be expected. Company like this would spend so much money for generators, even though they left. Still, he looked around and ready to pull out his knife. Not some sort of guns or swords but knife. In a city where arm dealers was illegal, they were unlucky.

Unfortunately, he's gonna get more unlucky. The group of four went up the stairs to the 2nd floor, where Andrew led them and found zombies. Few of them.

"Here, let me." I whispered. I prepared my knife and took a deep breath. I ran and slashed its throat. Then, I swing to the right and it went deep through the head. The now dead zombie stopped all movement, and fell where it stood. I stood still and forgot there was more than one. Some arrow passed by me. It must be Ty.

"Thanks, Ty." I mumbled and wiped my sweat, "Don't waste the arrows, Ty."

A groan was still heard across the 2nd floor, it seemed there's more of them. "I'll kill the rest, just give me a few minutes." I ran across the floor and swing tirelessly and dealt with them all. They were slow and easier to dealt with. I overestimated them, but their grip was strong. I noticed how tight when they hold my father down. I don't want to test what happen either.

"Rere?" He noticed how weary I look. For a second I couldn't answer him but I managed to show a smile so to not worry him.
