The world seemed so new. Like the world had been transformed. The boy couldn't believe where he was. It looked like a place out of one of his Fayrie books. He was scared and didn't understand where he was. Then came a voice from the trees. "You don't belong". The boy whorled around trying to find the voice. Then it came again from a different tree. "I said you don't belong". The boy was terrified. Since when do trees talk? Then he heard a buzzing in his right ear, then the voice again. "What are you doing here? You don't belong. Leave now!" He turned to see what had spoke and saw something he had only dreamed of, he saw a fay. He took a step back in awe. The boy was mesmerized by the tiny being. "Your a...a...a Fay! How are you a Fay?! They don't,...cant. It's not true! Are you real?"

"Um yes, I'm real. I'm here right? But unlike you, I belong! Now leave Aric Eifion Benjamin. You don't belong!"

"Wait! How do you know my name?!"

"Like I said you don't belong. Leave or you'll be trapped. YOU DON'T BELONG!!!!!" The fey yelled at Aric with a sense of disgust and hatred.

"I'm sorry if you don't like me being, but I don't know why or how I'm even here. Again you know my name but I don't know yours. My mom always told me not to talk to strangers but I kinda have no choice here. Do you mind telling me your name?" Aric asked bashfully and timid.

"Fine but we need to get you out of here. Your not safe here. I know a place we can go. It's safe there." The Fay replied reluctantly

There was a puff of green dust and then everything grew. I looked around at the world. Then I looked at myself and realized Ive shrunk. Everything seemed to be 100x larger. The already Skyscraper trees n ow looked like thy were touching the heavens. I turn to look for the fay and realize Ive got... It cant be. There's no way. I have to be dreaming. This is all too much. How can I possibly have... wings! Small white pointed wings. Not feathery but not like a fly's. Not quite a butterfly either. It was kinda like a mix but nothing like what they have in the movies or books.

"Come on Aric, we need to leave quickly they'er Almost here and they'll kill you if they get you."

Who is 'they' why do they they want to kill me? I have so many questions racing through my head. So many different plots running a million miles a minute, so fast it makes my head throb. I don't know what to make of the Fay's words. I still don't even know his name. What if he's working for 'them'? He could be taking me there to kill me. I stopped. How do I know I can trust him? The fay looks back and realizes Ive stopped and he does the same.

"Come on they're going to capture us both!" He yelled back to me but I wasn't going anywhere till I knew who he was and how he knew me.

"Dude honestly I'm not going anywhere until I know who you are and how you know me!" I called

"Fine my name is Kalen and I know your parents. They visited... often. Why you are here worries me. They would never let you come here. That means something bad happened and they sent you in hopes of something. When was the last time you saw your parents?"

" I don't know I woke up here and there was a wolf and then I met you." I paused. I really don't know when I least saw them.

" Aric, I'll explain more later but right now, you need to trust me. We need to get out of here quickly. Just come with me." He pleaded. I want to trust him but I really don't know him. I chose to follow him.

"Fine lets go." We flew through the air in a zigzag array. I could hear a growing growl coming from behind us. I looked back and saw these troll like bird creatures wizzing towards us. Kalen looked back and yelled to me, "we need to hurry they will kill us." He yelled. We flew faster and tried to lose them in the dense tree tops. I heard the disgusting growl from behind it was louder and sent fear flowing through my body. My mind raced and my body shook. What could these creatures be? Suddenly I felt a pain course through my body and everything went black.
