Boss Battle START
Dragiron: GOOWAR!!! (He fires chunks of ore at the twins which are dodged easily)
Clare: I think I get his hint, if he aims high he’s going for you Clara, and for me it low, you got that?
Clara: Yup, Thanks sis. Hiyah (She hits Dragiron with flame kick and shortens his height) Hey didja see that? He got shorter when I hit him.
Clare: That might help. If he’s shorter it’ll be easier to dodge his attacks. Let me hit him now. (She attacks next) Now he’s really short. (Dragiron spits out a really big chunk of ore)
Clara: What’s with the rock? (Dragiron hops on top of the chunk and attacks)
Clare: Oh no, that rock is making him taller. (She takes damage) Urrh… Clara, you have to break that rock!
Clara: (She takes damage too) Oof, okay I’ll get rid of that rock. (She kicks it off the summit) Buh bye.
Clare: That’s bit much. Anyways let’s attack him together.
Clara: Alright, Bounce twins time! (She jumps first for the team attack and performs the Double Bounce Twins Advanced Team Attack and defeats Dragiron.) That was Cool! What was that?
Clare: I think we just did an Advanced team attack.
Clara: We should definitely do that more often.
*A light envelopes Dragiron and changes him back into Prince Shimmers
Shimmers: Ah ha ha.
Clare: *Gasp* EEEKKK!!! IT’S PRINCE SHIMMERS!!!!!
Shimmers: Cheers to you fine ladies; you’ve returned me to my true form.
Clare: Oh. My. Hylia. I’m freaking out!
Clara: Hi. (Plabadon finally comes back)
Plabadon: Alright, I’m back and ready for a rematch. (He notices Dragiron isn’t there) Huh? Where’d he go?
Clara: Right here. (Points to Shimmer)
Plabadon: Th… This is… Why this incredibly dazzling young man is none other the Prince Shimmers!
Clare: Oh you know he is.
Plabadon: What happened to you Sire!?!
Shimmers: Heh heh heh, I suppose you could call it a bit of an accident. As I was investigating events throughout the country for this top secret mission I’m on, I suddenly encountered Goldinya and her vile underling, Bronzly, here on this mountain. But by the time I realized who the fiends were, it was too late…they transformed me into THAT and shut me inside the egg.
Clara: Sounds rough.
Clare: GRRR! I’m Gonna CRUSH Those two for Cursing MY Shimmers!!!
Clara: Oh, I should tell you, our Sister, Queen Sariah, has had her voice stolen by those very same fiends and we’re trying to get it back.
Shimmers: Queen Sariah you say. That must make you two Eternia’s twin Princesses. Heh, I wouldn’t worry about her. She’s a very powerful woman and righteous leader. I’m quite sure she’ll be fine.
Clara: So long as those chains are still holding her… Maybe. (Shimmers summons his flying carpet and hops onto it.)
Shimmers: At any rate, we should chase after Goldinya.
Clara: Yeah!
Shimmers: But first I want you two to visit my Father, King Silvers in Silvonia castle once you climb down the mountain. It may be that Goldinya’s next target is in the Castle! I’d bet my life on it!
Clara: Ok, we’ll stop by and check on things there.
Shimmers: Ah ha ha, oh here’s a gift from me for the help. Autographed, of course! (He tosses a rose to Clare)
Clare: A Yellow Rose…From HIM! …eep.
Shimmers: Yes, that rose matches your beautiful eyes perfectly! (Clare Faints) Show that at the castle entry and they’ll permit you to enter! And with that I must get back to my mission. May we meet again! (He flys away)
Clara: Be seeing you. Well we found the ore, found Plabadon, and met the Prince. We’d better bring this ore back to the village now so I can get my new hammer. Ready Sis?
Clare: …
Clara: Um Clare?
Clare: I Am Keeping This Flower FOREVER!!!
Clara: Hoo boy.
*Plabadon flys the girls back down the mountain with Clara on his back and holding Clare by his feet.
Plabadon: Here we are. Iro village.
Clara: Thanks for the ride down the mountain.
Clare: Come on; let’s bring this ore to the hammer head bros.
Clara: K. Bye Plabadon. (They arrive at the work shop and to their surprise there is a huge chunk of Iro ore, the same one Clara kicked off the summit.)
Mallet: Well look who it is bro.
Sledge: You two have the Best timing. This huge chunk of ore just fell through our roof. That’s never happened before.
Mallet: I wonder what made it fall from the summit?
Clare: Yeah, I wonder what did it Clara?
Clara: Eh heh, don’t worry about that, K. Wait what are we supposed to do with these then?
Sledge: Oh those can go in storage. We can use them to expand our business again.
Mallet: we’ll get to work on your hammer Right Away!
*The hammerhead bros go through the processes of tempering the ore, shaping it, and finalizing it into a weapon
Mallet: Hoo… Hoo… And there you have it, one hammerhead bros specialty Hammer!
Sledge: Whew, it feels good to be making hammers again after such a long break.
Clara: (She's in awe) Whoooa! It’s… BEAUTIFUL! (Clara Got the Hammer)
Clare: Wow! That’s a really well done hammer Guys.
Mallet: Really just look at that craftsmanship! POW! Now you’re playin’ with power.
Sledge: Yeah you got that right! This bad boy is now all yours.
Mallet: I guess before anything else, we oughta teach you how to use it properly, huh?
Clara: I already know how to use a hammer. Just swing it, right?
Sledge: WRONG! What you’re supposed to do is change your action command to the hammer and then you can swing the hammer properly to whack stuff.
Mallet: That’s it.
Clara: Okay, let me try it out… (She witches commands and uses hammer properly) Like that?
Sledge: You got it. So to recap the action the one leading does is called a Single Action, and the action the one in the back does is called a Team Action. This is the most basic of all Basics. Remember it!
Clare: I’ll be sure to remember that!
Clara: I won’t…
Mallet: Now you two can break all kinds of boulders and rocks.
Sledge: You can easily smash anything in your way
Mallet: Try whackin’ all kinds of stuff with that hammer. One mighty swing breaks the hardest rocks.
Sledge: Y’know, you oughta try clearing out those rocks in the other room to …
Clara: Alright! Let’s go clear that avalanche! (She rushes out the door with her new hammer)
Clare: *sigh* she can only focus on so much.
Sledge: Oh, before you leave, here’s the sword you asked for. (Clare got the sword Azul)
Clare: Whoa, it’s amazing. Thank you so much Sledge!
Sledge: No prob, little miss.
Clara: HEY CLARE! You’re taking too long again! Are you trying to be a Tarder too?
Clare: Shoot. I’ve gotta go, thanks again.
*The twins return to the avalanche site Clara is capable of clearing the path in a single swing
Clara: Hah! That was too easy. Now nothing can stand in my way!
Clare: Calm down, will you. We stay have a bit of climbing to do before we reach the base of the mountain.
Clara: The king’s castle is in the capital, right?
Clare: Of course it is. Who wouldn’t build their castle in the very center of their kingdom? (They reach another cave entrance) We’ll have to take this cavern path if we want to reach the base as soon as possible.
Clara: How come? The mountain path ends just along this trail.
Clare: Yes, I know, but don’t you remember what Bronzly said? (Clara forgot) He said that their next target was the castle. And with the amount of time we spent to get you a new hammer, we might already be too late.
Clara: My bad. Then what’re we waiting for let’s hurry to the capital! (They enter the cave)
Clare: Now there should be a…
Clara: Ooo! Look, mine carts and a track! We can ride these through the cave.
Old man: Whoa there, pards! It’s been a Kurbo’s age since we had any strangers in these parts.
Clare: Who’re you?
Old man: I ain’t nobody important. Jes been sittin ‘ere in ma chair, waitin as the days go by.
Clara: Well, we’re gonna take these mine carts down the mountain. That okay with you?
Old man: Now listen, young’uns: if you want to ride in them rusty old carts, I won’t go a-stopping you. But I’d advise watchin’ out fer trouble. Yep. No one knows what could be on them rails.
Clare: We did better not knowing that.
Old man: Still, I’ll tell you somthin’: you might just be able to find jewels in there.
Clara: JEWELS!!
Old man: Oh, and while you’re hoppin’ for loot, watch out! If you spot danger just shine your light at it!
Clare: But we don’t have any… (Clara lights her finger nail on fire)…never mind.
Old man: …Oh Mercy! There I go again!
Clare: Huh?
Old man: I’m always borin’ folks to tears with stuff like this…
Clare: No, no. I’m sure everything you’ve told us will be very useful information. So, worry is not necessary.
Clara: Come on, Sis. I wanna ride in the mine carts now!
Clare: Hey, now that I’m getting a better look at it, it doesn’t seem like we’ll both fit in one cart.
Clara: Don’t worry, there’s more than one cart, so you ride in that one, k.
Clare: but… I wanted to ride with you, not alone. The tracks go different ways and what if it’s dark or the track is damaged or what if there are g-g-gho…
Clara: Too late. (She pushes Clare into a cart)
Clare: EH? (The cart goes speeding down the track) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!
Clara: Hey! I think you got the brighter path, Lucky you.
*Clare roller-coasters on the rails in the dark and Clara slowly follows on a brighter, nicer trail
Clara: Aww, no fair! You still beat me here. Must’ve been because you had the brighter path.
Clare: It…was not… Bright…at all.
Clara: Well, the good news is I was able to get 10 Jewels on my track. How many did you find?
Clare: …Jerk… (They leave the cave and reach Silvers Fields) Finally, Level ground.
Clara: YAY! We’re almost there.
Mallet: WAIT UP! (The hammer head bros catch up to them) We forgot to mention one thing!
Clara: What’s up?
Sledge: We never taught you how to use your Hammer in battle.
Clara: But that’s super easy! I can smash anything into pancakes!
Clare: Even I have to admit that Clara is quite skilled with…
Sledge: WRONG! AGAIN! Now we have to show you the proper way to fight with a hammer!
Clara: Eh?
Mallet: Ready to learn?
Clare: It couldn’t hurt to learn a bit.
Clara: But I Don’t Wanna!
Sledge: Then we’ll explain it in battle!
*Tutorial time
Sledge: So, to whack with a hammer…Miss Clara will have to use her action command button to Strike, the same goes for Miss Clare.
Mallet: Talkin’ don’t do it justice, though. Lemme explain by example. First, let’s do some single attacks using Weapons!
Clara: Okay, so I do this and… (She changes her action command to weapon and equips her Hammer) Ready! Here I come! (She proceeds to attack Mallet)
Sledge: Wait a Sec’! (Clara stops just as she is about to lose her grip on the hammer) Press your action command button right here!
Clara: HAH! (She swings perfectly without hitting the ground doing maximum damage)
Mallet: Oooh! Man! That smarts!
Clara: Sorry! This new hammer is strong. You all right?
Mallet: It’s no big deal. I am a hammerhead bro, so I’ll be fine.
Clare: That was a really great attack with your hammer Clara! I’d say you’re already used to it.
Sledge: Use your action command just as you’re about to lose your grip, the key is when your hammer shakes, you got it?
Clara: Yup.
Sledge: Oh and, uh, Miss Clare the same applies to you when you use your sword. But it’s up to you how you’ll use it.
Clare: I understand.
Mallet: So, uh, next we gotta learn how to defend with a weapon!
Clara: Defend?! With my hammer? Did you know about something like that Sis?
Clare: It’s news to me. (Sledge walks in range of Clare)
Mallet: Now…Press your action command button to ready your weapon!
Clare: Ah… (She presses her A.C.B. to equip her sword) All set!
Mallet: When you’re holding your weapon, have it in a defensive position. Then when the enemy gets close… (Clare swings her blade and knocks Sledge back with a slice of water)
Sledge: YOWCH! That’ll leave a mark!
Clare: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to use my power then.
Clara: Wow! That was cool, Sis! (Clare blushes a bit) Why didn’t you tell me you had a cool new sword?
Sledge: So anyway, you get the idea. For weapon attacks, change your command to equip your weapons, wait till the last moment, then swing! BONK! Perfect Hammer (or sword) attack! On defense, hold your position and parry your enemies when they’re in range. WHAM! Perfect guard! Good luck and practice up once you get the chance!
Clara: Seems simple enough, I think I can naturally remember this one.
Clare: Hopefully…but just in case, I’ll keep a memo of all that. (She writes it all down on her small notepad.)
Sledge: Didja get all that? You better have!
Mallet: you better look alive with those things. There are a lot of monsters that your jump won’t do diddly to! You gotta learn some new tricks if you wanna get by ‘em!
Clara: New tricks, huh?
Sledge: I’m sure you two’ll be able to take care of business. If you can’t, you’re gonna have to give us that hammer back.
Clara: NEEEVEEERR!!!! (She backs away clutching her hammer, hissing)
Clare: Yeah, that’s not happening.
Mallet: Hey! We’re goin’ back so we can ride the cart again!
Sledge: Yeah! Cart rides are thrillin’ and filled with suspenders!
Mallet: You NITWIT! It’s “filled with Suspense!” SUSPENSE!!!
Sledge: Oops! Well, excuuuuse Me! (They march away in an odd fashion)
Clara: That was weird.
Clare: well, they did give us the hammer (and sword) and taught us a more effective way to use them, I’m grateful for that.
Clara: Now, it’s off to the Capital!
