“Wait what do you mean wiped out?” Debiddo says confused, “It was a setup.” Oshiro responded. “You remember what I told you about the different forms of Genkis?” “Yeah.” Debiddo responds. “Earth, Fire, Wind, and water are the common elemental Genkis that you will see a lot of chasers have. Our friend Himawari has wind Genki. Apparently, she is part of the royal Fujin clan. A clan whose wind Genki is the strongest amongst the other wind clans.” Oshiro says as he walks around outside of the temple. Now with the common elemental Genkis, there are those Genkis that are not so common. Lightning, ice, and light. Light is an element that connected the light Genkis users to God. The Hikari clan was deemed the strongest elemental Genki users and was left the task of guarding the Genki stone.” “Wait…you don’t mean?” Debiddo says as he steps back looking at his surroundings.” “Yes, Debiddo.” Oshiro responds. “This temple was the Hikari clans' temple. It is the last remaining remnant of that powerful clan.” “So, if they were the one who was supposed to guard the heart of Genkiru, then who is the one who supposed to guard Yami’s heart?” Debiddo says confused. “That I cannot tell you. Well, not now anyway” Oshiro responded. “It’s a classified manner in which only high-ranking chaser officers know about it.” “Damn it was that bad?” Debiddo asked. “Yes, yes it was.” Oshiro responded. Debiddo then looked at his hand and says to Oshiro. “So now that I found out my Genki, what do I need to do now?” “Now it’s time to train that Genki so that it will be ready for the tournament. Oshiro says as he puts his hand out forward near an empty space in the temple. “Ketsu!” Oshiro yells and out of nowhere a portal opens up at that empty space. The portal opening had inside of it nothing but blinding light inside of it. “Step in so that we can start the training,” Oshiro said as he puts some shades on. “AH! What in the world! Why is it so bright in here?” Debiddo exclaims “This is the Hikari training grounds. For you to truly master your Genki, you need to first train in the environment that is best suited for your ability.” Oshiro says adjusting his shades. “So that means you got to blind the hell out me?” “No Debiddo you are blinding yourself” Oshiro explains. As a Light Genki user, all light environments are second nature to you. You are mentally blinding yourself as you stare at the light. You need to look past that mental block that you are making for yourself so that you can truly see in the light.” “I don’t know what the hell you are talkin’ bout but I guess I’ll try it.” Debiddo says as he closes his eyes in a relaxed manner. Debiddo then took a deep breath and cleared his mind as he felt the brightness around him. He then slowly opened his eyes as the room starts getting dimmer and dimmer as his eyes opened up. The room was still very bright however, it was still as clear as daytime to Debiddo. “Wooow I can see!” Debiddo exclaims. “So, this is the Hikari training room.” Debiddo looks around the room as he sees a bright white and yellow sparing ring accompanied by the Hikari clan’s banner on the wall in the center of the room. On four corners of the stage stood a giant golden statue, which was holding a golden sun in their hand. “Yes Debiddo,” Oshiro responds. “This room had been training the Hikari clansmen and women for ages, and it will be your training ground too.” “Cool.” Debiddo says “So what is first?” “First I will teach spiritual energy control,” Oshiro says. “I thought you already showed me that when I was learning butsuri release?” Debiddo says. “Correct.” Oshiro responds. “However, this is spiritual control while in combat. You will need to use your Genki in ways that you can survive any demons that come your way.” Oshiro then points to the center of the stage. “Now Debiddo, I need you to sit and meditate in the center of the stage.” Debiddo then walks to the center and gets in the meditation position. “Alright, what now?” Debiddo asked. “Now remember the butsuri release training.” Oshiro responds “Ok.” Debiddo responds back, Oshiro then continues. “Focus small amounts of spiritual energy from your core outwards throughout your body. Think of a bunch of rivers connecting to an ocean.” Inside Debiddo’s body, his spiritual energy starts to create small veins of blue energy throughout his body. “Now I will put you through your training.” Oshiro says as he walks up to a stone tablet on s wall near the far side of the room. Oshiro activates the tablet by inserting a small amount of his spiritual energy in it. The tablet goes from a greyish color to a bright yellow color as it causes the four statues to shine a bright yellow as well as illuminating the room. Four beams from the four statues hit Debiddo with a beam of light that causes Debiddo to be taken aback. “What…what the hell is happening?” Debiddo says. “Don’t break your meditation Debiddo!” Oshiro demanded, “this is part of your training.” “How!?” Debiddo screams “You are a light Genki user” Oshiro responds. “Which means your body needs to be accustomed to all forms of light energy. The more your body gets used to it, the better control you will have over your abilities. Now shut up with all that talking and focus.” Debiddo undergoes nonstop amounts of light energy for hours having his soul undergo a change. His spiritual energy starts glowing on his own without the help of the Genki stone. The change is unnoticeable to Debiddo and Oshiro, but inside Debiddo’s spiritual energy is changing rapidly. His soul color changes to bright yellow and starts pulsating throughout his body. Oshiro then turned off the statues and made the light cease. The glowing on Debiddo body stopped and his soul energy color went back to its normal blue color. Oshiro then walked up to Debiddo and says “You felt that Debiddo?” Oshiro then placed his hand on Debiddo shoulder. Debiddo looked up at Oshiro and says “Yeah, I guess I did. When I was under that light, I felt my body feel warmer and I felt my energy rise even higher.” “Good, remember that warmth. You are going to have to use that to activate your light abilities.” When you focus your light energy in certain parts of your body you can enhance your bodies’ physical performance. Only you will be able to successfully understand the full extent of your abilities since your Genki is so rare. However, I will do my best to train you in Genki control so that you will be able to do well in the chaser exams.” Debiddo then stands up and walks to the end of the stage. “O.k.” Debiddo says as he starts stretching, preparing himself to fight. “Let’s start training old man, I’m ready.” “Slow down man damn!” Oshiro exclaims “let me show you how to focus your energy.” Oshiro then gets quiet. He takes a deep breath as the wind starts to flow around the room. Then with a loud grunt, Oshiro’s energy starts flowing aggressively around his body. Debiddo then started looking closely as Oshiro’s spiritual energy started concentrating on his legs. With that Oshiro then teleports with great speed creating after images of himself as Debiddo tries to follow Oshiro with his eyes. “You see Debiddo, Oshiro says as he starts moving so fast that his afterimages start solidifying. “If you focus your energy on certain points of your body, you will be able to learn a lot of moves that you will be able to use in the exams.” Oshiro then merged the afterimages back into one and says to Debiddo “Now let’s continue your Genki training.” Debiddo and Oshiro then start sparing with each other as Debiddo fights he constantly keeps his light Genki flowing throughout his body. There are times within the training where the light that Debiddo was emitting started fading due to the lack of spiritual control. When that happened Oshiro smacks Debiddo in the head and says “Again!” Debiddo went through intense training from one hand balancing push-ups where he falls constantly, squats with weights on his back where he falls down from the intense weight, to non-stop spar training with Oshiro all while controlling and utilizing his light energy. Day turned into night, and days turned into weeks as Debiddo starts to slowly gain full control of his light energy through the training. He started doing more hand balancing push-ups with ease, he was able to do squats with boulders on his back, and his fights with Oshiro, which were very one-sided at first, is now being more and more equal. Debiddo goes for a back-flip as Oshiro goes for sweep kick with the ground moving with his kick. Oshiro then shoots a multitude of projectiles that were made with a mixture of earth and wind elements. Debiddo’s reaction time improved so much that he was able to jump on top of the projectiles and kick one at the other projectile flying towards him. Debiddo then, while in mid-air, did a spinning roundhouse kick that was quickly blocked by Oshiro. The impact was so strong that the shockwaves shook the temple structure. “Very good Debiddo.” Oshiro says as he shakes off the rock that he used to block the kick. “You learned well for these past few weeks.” Debiddo falls down in a sitting position, looks up at Oshiro and says “yeah I know rig…wait…did you say a few weeks?” Debiddo then backs away slowly and says “we missed the exams…I... got to wait another year...” Oshiro then smacks Debiddo’s head and says “calm down Debiddo!” Oshiro then puts his hand on Debiddo’s shoulder and says “Time flows differently here.” Debiddo then calmed down looking up and Oshiro with confusion. “In the outside world, we have only been gone for a day.” “Wait a day?” Debiddo says confused. “Yes Debiddo, the Hikari clan was known for their training grounds and their fighting styles are that of beauty. Time flows so differently here that people from all over the world come over here to try and train. Only to be rejected and shunned away.” “Oh...ok umm alright,” Debiddo says still confused. Oshiro then tells Debiddo as he walks out of the temple doors, “Debiddo, I believe you are ready to your female friend.” “Right!” Debiddo says as he stretches his body and jumps up and down, ultimately loosening his body up. They then proceeded through the door the light from outside fills throughout the Temple.
