'Read It'

'Read It'

Feb 25, 2020

As my mind begins to tire,

From the struggles of the day,

I seize a book,

For there is no other way.

For books are full of wonders,

They can take me away,

From the world that pulls me under,

and makes pressures that weigh.

Books help me escape,

They are the one refuge,

For the worlds they shape,

Are full of marvels small and huge.

So next time you feel down,

You will know a secret,

Find a spot around,

Sit down and read it.

Lol just look at my library, and I have about 20 books stacked up in my room. I'm going to binge read all summer!
