School was amazing! I loved the rest of my classes, and I even made 4 new friends! It was amazing, really. No one really likes me when they first meet me, but these people really liked me! The mea hoʻoili (Princess) earlier really liked me, and I thought he was really great too! I have work now, but I have tons of homework. I don't think that I should have this much, but I'll do it anyway! I'm sure it will be fun, too. I'll probably get most of it done during work, anyway. I'm working 'till 10 today, and I won't be home until around 11:30, so I might not even have enough time to finish homework. If I get a good night's sleep. I most likely won't, but whatever, Right?
I have a shift from 3:30 to 5:30 at Mr Muffins (her actual name), then 6:00 to 7:30 at the art studio, 8:00 to 10:00 at the pound. Then, tomorrow, I have different places to work at. I've arranged this with all of my bosses, and they agree this is a great way of getting a lot of experience. I've been doing this since I was 10. Seems impossible, but I am very convincing. I have a few places that give me some odd jobs, and more spots during the weekend and summer. I've known my bosses since I was 4, and they all love me. My co-workers, not so much. I get paid a lot more because I do a lot of work while I'm there. Sometimes, I get off earlier and go home to spend time with my brother. Those are the best days.
The bakery is really slow today. Only two groups of high school students. It's five, so only thirty more minutes! 50 bucks for an hour and a half. Not really, I only get the extra cash because I help her on weekends with all of his baking and unloading her ingredients from the trucks. He is one of my favourite people. He is really sweet, and he pays me a bit more than he should. I have fifteen minutes left, and the bell rings. I look up, unable to help my grin. I don't mind another customer, this is a great place to work. It's a group of kids from school. The group I ate lunch with! How nice. I smile wider at seeing Abel, and he has a small smile himself.
"Aloha, mea hoʻoili," His smile shows a bit more, and I'm glad he likes the name. I could tell that towards the end of the day, he was getting a bit annoyed with me. At least he isn't upset with me. That would be disappointing.
"Hey, retaco (shorty)," His grin matches my own now, and they have made their way to the counter. He's with what seems to be a football team of some sort. Maybe they are coming from tryouts.
"Are you guys coming from tryouts?" I tilt my head out of habit, eyeing their gear. Some helmets, and a few footballs.
"Watching, anyway. Coach likes our opinion before she lets anyone on. We saw your brother, by the way," Jasey talks and his words make me smile bigger.
"Yeah, he's loved playing since we were six. Always asked me to throw with him, but I'm not very good," Abel snorts and rolls his eyes at me. What? What's funny?
"Understatement of the year," How dare he? I'm not even that bad!
"Hey, I'm getting better!" I glare at him, making him chuckle a bit.
"Barely." He smirks at me, and I huff. What a jerk. I should probably get them what they want, I have two minutes left.
"What can I get you guys, anyway?" I better hurry. I'll be late, and they don't like when I'm late.
"Just some chocolate chip cookies, please," Abel smiles, and surprisingly, I blush. I usually blush whenever someone compliments me, or when I smile or laugh, but this was because he smiled. It was weird.
"Sure thing, mate," I get a cookie for everyone and two more. Both for my brother. He has to keep his blood sugar up! I think that's what it'll do. I hope.
"There are 8?" He raises an eyebrow. That's so cool! I could never do that! No matter how hard I try, it just won't lift!
"For my brother. He'll need 'em after tryouts. Give them to him for me? I won't make you pay~" I try to coax them into delivering them. It must work, because he smiles, making his way to the door.
"No problem, l'amour," He winks, escaping out the door with his team following him. I wish I could go with them. Wait, no I don't. I don't wanna see a bunch of sweaty dudes running around with no shirts on.
It's five minutes after my shift ended, and I need to run. I won't be late if I walk, but I won't be in the right uniform. I make it to the studio and rush to the bathroom. The Mrs' won't be too mad if I take my time changing. I hope because I really love this job!!!

They didn't get mad, and I got to my last job on time! It's time to go home, but I wanna take a few detours. Wait, no, I can't. I need to see if my brother made the team. I should run home. I'll make it at 10:15, hopefully. If I go faster. I should start bringing my bike. Dangit, I left it at school! Why did I think of this now? 4 more blocks. In no time, the door is in front of me, and multiple cars in front.
"I'm homeee~" I march into the living room, my eyes falling on the couch. Within seconds, I'm sprawled out on the couch, relaxing, and dozing off. Hopefully he made the team. I'll pay for it.
