Adrien's POV
I was sitting on Marinette's chaise, waiting for her to finish her shower so I could take on as well.
"I don't understand you two," Plagg remarked.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"I've been around for a long time and I've seen many couples but none of them are like you two," Plagg continued.
"What are you trying to say?" I interrogated.
"Well, you guys are always cuddling and stuff but you never do any of...you know um...that stuff like I've seen other couples do," Plagg awkwardly stated. I stared at him with a confused expression and he seemed to notice. "I'm talking about intimacy, Adrien!" he continued, obviously annoyed.
"Really, Plagg! Keep in mind that she is sixteen and I am seventeen. We are way too young for those kinds of things. Besides, she wants to wait until marriage and I respect that. I am going to wait until she is ready, no matter how long that will take." I proclaimed. I couldn't believe him. Was he serious? I heard to bathroom door unlock as Marinette exited bathroom wearing her pajamas and a towel wrapped around her wet hair.
"Your turn," she declared as she sat down at her desk and started her homework.
Third Person
After Adrien finished his shower and they were both in comfortable clothing, the two lovers ambled downstairs. Sabine had prepared some hot cocoa decorated with whipped cream, marshmallows, and mini chocolate chips. The scent of the delightful drink filled the air, delivering a comforting vibe to the home. Once Marinette's parents went back to work in the bakery, Adrien ran around the house, grabbing every blanket that came into view.
"What are you doing?" Marinette questioned with a laugh while putting a movie on. Without answering, Adrien flopped onto the couch and wrapped himself up with all of the blankets. The confused girl sat next to him with a warm mug of hot cocoa in her hand. "Stop hogging all of the blankets," she joked.
"Nope," Adrien simply replied with a smirk. Setting her mug down, Marinette attempted to yank the blankets away from Adrien. Key word, attempted. Adrien just sat there watching her fail with a goofy smile until an idea popped into his head. Without warning, the teenage boy jumped on top of Marinette, engulfing her in the blankets. Marinette started to flail her limbs, desperately trying to find an escape. All Adrien could hear was Marinette's muffled screams. After a minute or two, he removed the blankets that were once on top of her.
"What were you thinking? I could have suffocated!" the frazzled girl exclaimed. All Adrien could do was laugh hysterically. "What's so funny?" she demanded.
"Your face," he explained. Her dark blue hair was all puffed up and tangled and her face was all red giving her the appearance of an angry lion (That's what I look like when I wake up and I'm not lying). Marinette just rolled her eyes before getting up and going to the bathroom. Soft giggles could be heard through the bathroom door as Marinette gazed at her appearance in the mirror.
"Okay, that's funny," she admitted as she exited the bathroom and sat next to her boyfriend on the couch. She leaned forward to grab the two mugs of hot cocoa that were once forgotten on the coffee table as Adrien wrapped themselves in blankets to keep warm. They didn't really need the blankets since the home provided enough warmth coming from the bakery down below but he did so anyways. She handed him his mug as they cuddled and watched the movie.

It had been about an hour into the movie when Marinette realized a little blob of whipped cream on Adriens nose. A small smile spread across her face as her finger reached up to wipe the substance off his nose.
"What are you doing?" he questioned, confusion evident on his face.
"You had whipped cream on your nose," she replied. He eyed the whipped cream that was now on her finger. His head reached down and he licked the cream off as the girl watched with surprise. He then pecked her lips with a kiss before embracing her in his arms. It wasn't too long after when sleep took over both of them.

The two bakers had just finished working in the bakery. When Tom opened the door to their home, they were greeted with a lovely sight. Their daughter and her boyfriend were fast asleep in each others arms with several blankets surrounding them. While Sabine was adored by the sight and taking pictures, a slight wave of jealousy overcame Tom. He approached the two and quietly woke Adrien.
"I think it's time for you to go home," Tom calmly stated. Adrien tiredly nodded and called his bodyguard to pick him up. He showed up rather quickly and Adrien said his goodbyes before leaving. Tom picked his daughter up, cautious to not wake her up, and carried her to her bed with his wife not too far behind him. He tucked her in and they both kissed Marinette on her forehead before turning off the lights and going to their own room to retire for the night.
Well this chapter is a little shorter than I would like it to be but I wanted to save some stuff for the next chapter. My goal of 1000+ words did not last that long haha. I hope you enjoyed the fluff in the first few chapters because things are just going to start escalating from here on out. Keep in mind that everything in this book happens for a reason.
