“Hey bestie” I called out as I jumped on Kiras back. 

Kira was one of the first friends I made in high school and over the years we have gotten closer. It would seem unfair to call her a friend only. She's now practically my best friend.

“Oh Lee you’re back in school already”

“I just had to. I need to sign the dormitory form today. That way I can be your roommate this semester too”

“Great we omegas have to stick together,” Kira said excitedly “Have you registered  for all your classes already?” Kira asked

“Not yet. I’ll probably do that tomorrow” 

“By the way did you hear about the omega who was raped at REN pharmacies

“No, I didn’t. What happened?”

“So you see this omega had graduated and was offered a job at REN pharmacies. A week later he had an irregular pheromone release and the block he worked on had about 150 alphas.”

“Seriously?” 

“Yeah and they all took turns raping him. It was only until one of the cleaners who was a beta saw the mess and called the police right away.”

“What happened to all the alphas. Are they in jail?”

“Of course not the whole lot of them returned to work the next day blaming the company for hiring an omega. They even blamed the omega for not properly taking his suppressants.”

“What about the omega?”

“Apparently he's been admitted into a Mental health care facility. He's not in his best mental state, after all, he went through”

Stories like this always scared me. They made me realize how difficult it was to be an omega. Them not arresting the alphas who raped the omega was nothing surprising. After all, everyone in the local courts to the high courts is most likely an Alpha. Every institution has alphas at the top controlling betas and omegas and bending the law to fit them.
