Jericho came to where I and Kira were seated. He picked his bag that was on the bench below us and then looked up and noticed us. He looked at me and then at Kira and smiled.

“Did you guys enjoy the game?” 

I looked at Kira who was also already looking at me. I raised my eyebrows twice and Kira knew I wanted her to answer that question.

“Yes, we did. It was a very good game” Kira looked back at me waiting to see if I was going to say something too but I stayed quiet. 

“Well I guess I'll be heading back now” Jericho turned around quickly and joined the rest of his team who were also leaving the gym.

“Seriously Lee, why did you have to make it so awkward. All you had to do was carry out a conversation”

I bit my lower lip and jerked my leg back and forth. I felt guilty for acting that way. 

“I have to go” I Picked up my bag and walked away

“What!Where?” Kira picked up her bag and chased after me.

“I have a class?” I pushed the gym doors open and rushed into the hallway. 

“Already? Don’t most classes start tomorrow”

“Not this one.”

“Then bye. I’ll see you later then” kira said angrily and made her way back to the gym.
