“ Mama...Papa?” I yelled out. I managed to get separated from my parents while scouting for the demon knights. The knights infiltrated our forest five years ago and started causing grave panic and destruction.

“Lady Saphira, do you think it is wise to be yelling out loud like this.” A voice whispers in my ear.

“ Your right, Neko, I’ll shut up.” Neko’s my familiar/ best friend. She’s a beautiful black and white humanoid cat. She shrinks down to the size of a ferret to chill on my shoulder sometimes. Oh who am I kidding, all the time because she’s a lazy son of a b-. Not going there.

“Oh and thank you for making me some clothes that readjust to my sizes.” I giggled remembering the first time she shrunk herself. Not only did she scared herself but the poor thing was naked.

“ You have to wear something, don’t ya.” I became serious once again after the words left my lips. We walked through the forest until I notice we were heading to the Enchanted Lake. I try to avoid that place because the mermaids are more than flirty when I go there. Once I left the clearing of the forest one of them instantly saw me a waved.

“ Lady Saphira!!!!” She yelled alarming the other mermaids. Sighing I made my way to the shore to tell them hello.

“ Hey ladies, how’s your day been?” I asked being polite. Even though they try and seduce me every time I visit them I still consider them friends.

“ Alot better now that your here.” One of them sigh breathlessly.

“ We get it she’s dreamy.” Neko says hopping off my shoulder readjusting back to her original size.

“ Hi Lady Neko~” A blonde mermaid purred.

“ Are you two hungry because I’ll be more than happy to go catch you a yummy fish to eat.” A brunette mermaid asked.

“ No thank you. We are busy at the moment.” Neko gave me a thumbs up for my repose since normally I would take the offer.

The fish here are to die for. Literally. Fishers die trying to catch them.

“ Have you lovely ladies seen Lady Saphira parents? We’ve gotten separated from them while scouting.” Neko says in a sweet tone.

“ Oh yes we have, they passed through here not even three hours before you two arrived. They headed west of the lake. We could show you if you want.” Another brunette mermaid asks.

“ Please, It’ll be very helpful.” Neko says leaning down to clasp the mermaids hands in hers. The mermaid blushed before letting go of Neko’s hand. Sighing Neko shrunk down and waited for me to extend my hand so she could climb up my arm to my shoulder. Once she was secured on my shoulder I nodded my head to tell the mermaids to lead the way. They took off swimming as I ran along the bank. We ran for what felt like hours before a roar could be heard. The mermaid were not able to go on anymore since the lake water ended so I turn to them.

“ Thank you ladies.” I say before running to were the roar came from. The roar came from a clearing in the forest about a few meters away from the lake. In the clearing was a black dragon. It was covered in chains that the demons were holding it down with some so it could escape.

“ Dad!!!!!” I yelled not being able to stand seeing him covered in chains like he was a prized possession. Yes, my dad is a dragon. King of the dragons to be exact. But unlike other dragons, royals have the ability to transform into humans.

Dad whipped his head in my direction. He’s eyes went wide once he saw me. He started struggling against the chains even more once the demons started charging at me.

“ Run Saph!” Dad yelled breathing fire while trying to rip the chains off his back. Seeing that the demons were charging at me I turned to run. Before I could even take one step a huge hand clamped down on my shoulder. I turned to see an enormous demon smirking at me.

“ I’m going to have fun with this beautiful red headed girl along with the other.” He laughs tightening his grip on my shoulder. Mom?!! I automatically tough. Thinking of this demon having his way with my mother made the dragon inside me roar in anger.

“ If you want to keep that hand. I’d advise you to take it off my shoulder.” I say in a dark tone. Meaning my dragon , Sapphire, was trying to take control.

“ Is that a threat.” The demon laughs tightening his grip on my shoulder even more.

“ No, It’s a promise.” I say moving my other hand to grab my sword on my back. The demon saw a began laughing even harder.

“ You think that pewny sword could harm me little girl.” He let go of my shoulder to hold his stomach from laughter.

“ Saph.. You need to calm down.” Neko warned in my ear. Shit She must’ve felt my mood change.

“ To late.” I say, my voice sounding even more disorenting. I felt my canines become sharper and my eyes becoming sharper.

“ Saph, If you don’t calm down she will take over.” Neko hissed in my ear. I didn’t care. This asshole was talking about bedding my mother.

I let Sapphire take over my body so that she could use the sword because she was beyond pissed and was out for his blood and when she’s out for blood nothing stops her. Neko knew Sapphire had taken over by then and hopped off my shoulder. She transformed back to her original size and drew her twin blades from their side holsters ready to take on the demons surrounding us. The demon that was standing in front of me was still in a fit of laughter, not noticing Neko’s appearance. Sapphire grabbed the handle of our sword , Holy Carver, and sliced off the hand of the demon that was on our shoulder, slicing a little of the demon’s stomach in one swift movement. The demon began screaming bloody murder falling to the ground. Causing the chaos around us to stop for one moment before beginning again. The demon clung to were once he had a hand, trying to stop the bleeding.

“ I thought you said this ‘pewny’ blade couldn’t harm you.” Sapphire says kneeling down to look at him.

“ You bitch, you cut my hand off.” He yells, a slight whimper in his voice.

“ We warned you.” Sapphire says in a sing-song voice.

“W-w-what the hell are you?” He asks demandingly, shaking in fear.

“ That’s for us to know .” And in one swift moment Sapphire slices his head off. “ And for you not to find out.”

“ T-Torn has been defeated. RUN!!!” A demon that was fighting Neko yells. All the demons began panicking before running into the forest. Sapphire takes a deep breath and then gives me back control. Did you have to get blood on our clothes. And Thank you for saving our mother’s pride. I say in an annoyed tone as I looked down at my clothes except the ‘thank you’ part. Yes, yes I did. Plus no one get to bed our mom except our dad cause I want a younger sibiling. She replies. Chuckling slightly I ran over to help dad get the chains off.

“ I thought I told you to run.” Dad scolds as I try to untangle a chain that had his wings tangled together.

“ I can’t run if I’m being held in place, Old man.” I replied finishing untangling his wings. Dad chuckled as he stretched his wings before transforming back into a human.

“ True, Now you go and free the prisoners while I go and look for your mother.” Father says while fixing the collar of his shirt.

My father was rather a handsome man. He stood at the height of 6’3 for a forty year old man. He’s jet black hair clung to his face from the sweat and his sea blue eyes laced with worry for his wife. His tan bronze skin covered in scratches and scar from the battle.

He took off running to check the tents. While I headed to the hole in the ground guessing it was where the prisoners were. Once I got closer I could see that Neko was already there lifting children out of the hole. I got close enough to see different species. Faires, Werewolves, Elves, and to my surprise an angel. I began helping pulling out women, men, elderly, and babies!!! Who the hell imprison an infant. I looked up to see the angel not moving. I hopped down into the hole and began walking to her. She had her head in between her knee so she didn’t know I was there. Her hair was white with black tips. Which I found very comforting for some reason.

“ Hey.” I said as I took a step towards her.

“ Leave me alone.” She says not moving.

“ Saph.” A voice says behind me. I turned to see my dad at the top of the hole carrying my mom’s unconscious form. My mom’s hair was no longer the strawberry red color it used to be. It was more of a faded color showing she was very weak. Her skin a pale color showing she was sick.

“ Take care of the last one. I’m going to take your mom home.” And with that dad released his wings from hiding them and flew off.

“ That lady, was she your mother.” I looked behind me to see the angel standing. She had grey eyes like fire ashes. I didn’t get to answer before she ran at me with great speed and pinned me to the wall. She started into my eyes before saying something I thought I’d never hear.

“ Mine,” Was all she said. Something in that in that one word struck a wave of lust through me. The next thing I knew was I placed my hands on her cheeks and kissed her. She hesitated at first before returning the kiss.

“ That is so unlike you Saph.” A familiar voice says behind the angel. The angel pulled back and I looked behind her to see Neko smirking at us with her arms crossed. The angel turned to see who I was talking too. Once Neko saw the face of the angel she quickly kneel.

“ Realm Princess.” Wait What!?!?!?I mentally panicked closing my eyes hoping this was a dream. Oh my god!!!! I just kissed the princess of all realms. What if she locks me up in a dungeon. Oh no, What if she has me execut-. My panicking quiet down once I felt someone’s hands cupping my cheeks and placing their lips on mine. I opened my eyes to see that the Realm Princess was the one kissing me. She pulled away and giggled a little before leaning down to my ear.

“ What about having you marry me?”

I felt my face heat up and my legs feeling like they would collapse. Wait did I say that out loud. Bad Saphira. Very bad Saphira. I mentally scolded myself.

No, just heard your thoughts. A voice says in my head.

Great, how am I going to block the images in my head out now. You probably don’t want to hear all that stuff going on in my head.

“ Well then.” I say out loud trying to change the subject. I extended my hand out for her to take. “Would you like to get out of this god forsaken hole.”

“ Gladly!” She exclaims taking my hand. I lead us out of the hole with Neko following close behind.

“ Saph, I’m going to take the refugees to the hideout. You should go ahead of us and check on your mother.” Neko says

“ Your right.” I turned to tell the princess to go with Neko. But she must’ve read my mind.

“ I’m going with you, Saph.” The princess says crossing her arms looking confident. Neko busted out laughing before I could reply.

“ Not to be rude your highness, but do you really think you could keep up with a dragon while flying.”

“ Dragon? Wait your a dragon?!” The princess turns to me with a surprised look on her face.

“Dragon princess to be exact.” Neko speaks up not letting me talked. The princess looked at me shocked.

“ Wait, your the daughter of a legend.”

“ Two legends actually.” I say finally being able to speak up. “ My mother is the Sleigh Beggy that helped win the war against the direwolves.”

“ Sleigh Beggy Ai. As in most powerful wizard in the world.” I nodded. The princess look like she was going to faint from the unrealness.

“ Well that explains the red and black hair.” The princess reaching to play with a strand of my hair. She finally stops and step back a little. “ And does not change the fact that you are my mate.” Mate!? That must’ve been that wave of lust that took over my body earlier. My body was telling me she was my destined one.

“ You felt it too?” She asks taking my hands in hers

“ Yes, yes I did.” I say looking in her eyes. I eventually let go of her hand to be interrupted by a menacing cat.

“ Sorry to ruin the moment, but Saph. Your mom. NOW!” Neko says and then run over to the refugees. Sighing I turned to the princess to see her already stretching her wings.

“ We going.” She asks before lifting herself off the ground with her wings. Chuckling from her braveness I finally let my red and black wings out from my back. I flew up to where she was hovering and wait for her to stop staring at my wings. She finally stopped staring at my wings and looked me in the eyes.

“ Which way?” She asked.

I started flying towards south from where we were. I looked behind me to see the princess right behind me. We flew for about three minutes before a roar could be heard behind us. I looked behind me once again to see the look of terror on the princess’s face. A blue-ish grey dragon was gaining on us from behind.

“ Don’t worry your highness. It’s just Neko and the refugees.” I say slowing down to her speed. The dragon flew past us giving a short nod of respect to me.

“ Why are we heading for the ocean?” The princess asks grabbing my hand.

“ Wait and find out.” I smirked stopping above a beach near the water. Letting go of the princess’s hand I began descending the the ground. The princess as well as the dragon followed. Once I landed I hid my wings since it’s more comfortable.

“ Why did you hide your wings.” The princess asks placing a hand where my wings used to be.

“ Where we’re going, I won’t need them.” I replied turning face to face, with her. Well kinda face to face since she’s a little taller than me.

“ And where are we going, there’s nothing around.” She says gesturing around us to make a point.

“ Just one moment.” I chuckled. I fished around my satchel on my side to find my conch shell. Once I found it I handed it to the princess and told her the blow in it. She gave me a look before blowing in the shell. The shell made the most beautifullest sound ever. And on que, four sea dragons appeared.

“Sua Maestà.” They bowed speaking dragon tongue. I nodded in acknowledgement telling them to open the path to the kingdom. They started swimming in circles causing a path to open. The refugees on the the grey-ish dragon, Silverwind, started freaking out from the sight of it.

“ Miss Neko, please calm the guest.” Silverwind says in an annoyed tone. Silverwind is the wind dragon general. She’s leader of the wind dragons. She’s also considered as my aunt or godmother. She loves me as much as she loves her daughter and wife. Her daughter, Silvergust, is awesome to hang out with. She’s four years older than me making her twenty-one. Her husband, Flame Claws, is the son of the fire dragon general. He’s twenty-eight and the second best fighter. He taught me everything I knew. Anyway back to the story.

“ Of course Ma’am.” Neko says. She then began rummaging through her bag and grabbed her flute. She began playing a beautiful melody and the guest began calming down almost instantly. Hoping Neko had everything under control I took a step to the path. The princess saw and quickly grabbed my arm to stop me.

“ What’s the matter, milady?” I ask turning to look at her. She had a look of worry on her face.
